For this brief we had to create our own backdrops which was so much fun.
Here is some behind the scene images of creating and final results of backdrops.
Saikou Apparel Research
What is the history of the brand?
Saikou Apparel was created by YouTubeer “Rossboomsocks” and his girlfriend Maisie. They were inspired by their love of Japanese fashion but were tired of paying extortionate prices on the high street. The clothing is East Asian inspired and the company was established in December 2019. All of the clothing is designed and made in Scotland.
What items do they sell?
Hoodies
T-shirts
Beanies
Backpacks
Bum bags
Pins
Face masks
Who is their target market?
Their target market is people that like East Asian street wear, gaming, anime, fans of “Rossboomsocks” and people between the ages 15-30.
Describe their existing advertising images. What are they trying to convey? How can you tell?
The brand is trying to show that they are a cozy and comfortable casual clothing brand. They emphasise their love for East Asian fashion by showcasing this in their advertisement photographs.
What does the Brand Manager use to describe their brand image?
Cool
Casual
Relaxed
Grungy
Effortless
Comfy
What does the client want from you? What questions do you need to ask the client?
The client wants us to make sure the logos are visible and not covered by hair. They would also like us to show the small details of their clothing. They are happy for us to experiment and be outside the box when creating the images.
What is the end use of the images? What considerations do you need to make?
The end use of our images will be for our college brief but if the client likes them there could be a conversation about working with them. The images need to show off the clothing clearly like they are being used for advertisement.
How will you do this?
I will create an eye-catching background which also compliments and shows off the clothing in a way that would make people want to buy it.

I added the text to this image using Adobe Express and experimented with different fonts, sizes etc.
However, I think this below image is best.
