Oh yeah remember Saildrakes? They’re not a dead project I swear. i’ve actually totally redone their base. My dream is to make them something like an ARPG, with specific colours and markings and an ability to breed them. But it’ll take a lot of work before that’s even close to ready.

Sorry for being a bit quiet, I’ve been doing a lot of prep for Saildrakes. They still wont be ready for a good month or so because there’s so much that needs to be done, but I’ve been working on getting some of the really big stuff finished.

I have a saildrake, should I sent it back to be remade or is it fine as it is? (Don’t want to break any rules!)

It’s totally fine! The colours and patterns I used on those that I gave away a while ago probably aren’t official so your drake likely won’t be an officially recognised drake as part of the group, however you can still do as you wish with it as a character regardless!

We got some.... Traits. I’ll pretty this up at some point, but it gets the basics across!

*Floppy, on the standard base no ear types will show, however they’ll be listed. I won’t upload anything with the floppy sail type until I have the ear type sheet out!

I made a species! I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and I think I really like this one. I’m still not sure whether they’ll be open, semi-open or a closed species atm, but we’re still in development.

Saildrakes! They’re a terrestrial dragon species who largely inhabit open grasslands, where they live in large social communities. They’re highly intelligent and very empathetic, despite their large meat-based diet. They thermoregulate on the heat of the grasslands using the large sails located on their head and body. Bigger, intact sails are seen as more attractive, as it’s seen as a good indicator of genes and health. They have strong, compact bodies which are built for chasing down swift prey. They’re not built for endurance, so they rely on teamwork to get the job done.

These two are up for grabs! While I work on creating more traits and decide what path to take with this species. I’ll have more freebies up for grabs over the coming weeks between AF attacks, so if you miss out now but still want one don’t be too worried! First in best dressed, so let me know quickly if you want one!
