I made a species! I’ve wanted to do this for a while, and I think I really like this one. I’m still not sure whether they’ll be open, semi-open or a closed species atm, but we’re still in development.

Saildrakes! They’re a terrestrial dragon species who largely inhabit open grasslands, where they live in large social communities. They’re highly intelligent and very empathetic, despite their large meat-based diet. They thermoregulate on the heat of the grasslands using the large sails located on their head and body. Bigger, intact sails are seen as more attractive, as it’s seen as a good indicator of genes and health. They have strong, compact bodies which are built for chasing down swift prey. They’re not built for endurance, so they rely on teamwork to get the job done.

These two are up for grabs! While I work on creating more traits and decide what path to take with this species. I’ll have more freebies up for grabs over the coming weeks between AF attacks, so if you miss out now but still want one don’t be too worried! It’s Been One Hell of a Year

I urge you, as we dive headfirst into the New Year, not to rely on others to make 2018 a better year. Undoubtedly, bad things are going to happen, and no amount of advocacy, protest, prayer, or indignation can deter all tragedies. Your only guaranteed realm of control lies in your response to disaster, adversity, or pain. Feel all of your emotions as needed, but don’t let the wrong ones fester. Remember that negative emotions accumulate abominably quickly. Before long, you’re hurting yourself more than you’re hurting the object of your hatred, disappointment, or animosity. 

I wish you courage, confidence, and contentment in the coming year, and all those thereafter.
