Trafalgar Law: He was resting against Bepo’s form, who had already fallen asleep. He had his hands behind his head and his chest moved as he took a deep breath. He heard soft tapping and opened one eye to see their newest crew member padding along the hardwood floor with their bare feet and they seemed to be shivering. He raised an eyebrow as they tried to quietly walk past.
“(Y/N).” He called out, making them jump and turn around to look at him.
“C-Captain! I thought you were sleeping!” He shook his head.
“Just resting. You look cold.” They rubbed their bare arm that their short sleeved shirt did nothing to heat them up from the cold night.
“Just a little. I was going to get water.” He gestured to Bepo with his head.
“You can rest here with me if you want.” He held back a smirk at seeing the small blush that formed on their cheeks and they nodded. They took a seat next to him and immediately cuddled up to Bepo’s fur.Law could still tell that they were shivering and put his jacket over them that he had taken off earlier. They blushed again and he let a small smirk go to his lips. He could see how they put the jacket on and cuddled up to the fabric and he looked to the side to not show them his happy expression.
“T-Thank you, captain.” He shrugged, still not able to look at them.
“Tch. No need to thank me. I can’t let my partner get sick.” They blinked and looked at their captain, slowly turning red once his words processed in their head.
“P-P-Partner?” They asked, unable to actually believe it. They saw him nod slightly and swore that they saw a, barely able to see, blush on his face.
“Yeah. Partner. Isn’t it obvious that I like you?” He murmured, sounding a bit annoyed but they could tell that he was embarrassed. They only blushed darker and slowly curled up against his side, resting their head against his chest.
“Same here, captain…” They mumbled, blushing more. He glanced at them and smiled a bit, wrapping his arm around them and bringing them closer. He felt them slowly dozed off against him and he pulled them tighter to him, determined to protect them now that they were his.
Rob Lucci: He knew how difficult being in a relationship with him must be like so he was pleasantly surprised when they continued to stay by his side. It took some debating on his end whether what he was feeling was really ‘love’ but he knew that from the way his heart raced whenever they walked into the room or when it was too painful to be away from them during missions, he was in too deep with the foreign emotion. He let out a soft sigh that made his partner want to look at him. Unluckily for them, they couldn’t move much. He had them sitting on his lap with his arms firmly around their waist and his head rested on top of theirs. To entertain themselves, they were playing with Hatori, who had nestled pleasantly on their lap.
“What are you sighing about, Lucci?” He could see how hard they tried to look up at him and a hint of a tiny smile made its way on his lips as he watched them stroke Hatori’s feathers.
“I might have a problem.” He tightened his grip on their waist and moved his head to rest against their shoulder instead. They turned their head to try and look at him but he was looking at Hatori.
“What’s your problem?” They asked, curious as to what could possibly be bothering the Rob Lucci. They reached up and combed their fingers gently through his hair. He closed his eyes and inhaled, able to breathe in their scent.
“I love you.” He stated. He could feel warmth from his partner’s face and he smirked, knowing that they were blushing. He blinked, surprised, as he felt a light kiss being pressed against the side of his head.
“I guess we have the same problem then.” His grip tightened on them and they blushed a bit more, feeling him nuzzle his face in their neck. They giggled and gently maneuvered so that they could hug him and snuggle against him.
Marco the Phoenix: He definitely knew he was in love, he just didn’t know how to express it. He was close to confessing multiple times but always chickened out last second. He scratched the back of his head and groaned, feeling more and more irritated with himself. His partner could see him getting himself worked up. They walked over and placed their much smaller hand on his shoulder.
“Marco? You okay?” He looked at them and a small smile lifted the corner of his lips at seeing the concerned look on their face. He lifted his hand and placed it gently on top of their head, ruffling their (H/C) locks gently.
“I’m fine. Just thinking about something important.” They tilted their head and smiled, yet confusion and concern filled their eyes.
“Something important? Like what?” He felt his heart pick up its pace but he kept his composure. He waved over his partner to get closer and when they did, he lazily wrapped his arms around their shoulders and rested his head on top of theirs. He felt them laugh and hug him back. He looked off into the ocean while hugging his partner. He felt them rubbing the small of his back and he closed his eyes at their touch.
“I love you.” He muttered, squeezing them gently.
“What?” They blinked as they tried to understand him but he just squeezed them tighter against him. He let out a soft playful sigh and bonked their head gently with his chin. “Oww!”
“I love you.” They stiffened and he felt panic for a second. That is until they snuggled closer into him and mumbled the same words back to him. He smiled and held them to him so that they could hear his heart racing.
Portgas D. Ace: He was getting nowhere. He asked everyone on the crew on how to confess to them but he was too embarrassed with any of their suggestions. While walking around town, he grew annoyed yet envious at the couples walking around, holding hands and being grossly affectionate with each other. He was annoyed since he wanted that with his crush, which he blushed at the thought. He groaned to himself and went back to the ship, determined to finally confess. He saw them laying on the ground and looking at the sky. He took a breath before walking over to them and taking a seat next to them. They tilted their head and smiled at him before sitting up.
“Hey, Ace!” He smiled, even though he could feel that his hands were shaking. His crush looked at him and tilted their head.
“What’s wrong? You seem worried about something.” Ace sighed and took his hat off to run a hand through his hair. He placed his hat next to him and looked at them, a determined look in his eyes but also a blush on his cheeks.
“I... I have to tell you something important!” They blinked and nodded, letting him continue. The blush on his cheeks turned darker as he fumbled over his words. He took a deep breath and he looked them straight in the eyes. “I-I like you so will you be my partner?!” He exclaimed, watching as their face heated up with their own blush. They looked to the side and scratched their cheek.
“I-I know... E-Everyone told me...” He blinked and he turned completely red, even going as far as having a small flame light up on top of his head.
“T-They told you?! I’ll kill ‘em!” He was about to stand up when they launched themselves at him and hugged him tightly around his waist. He blushed again as he heard them mumble.
“D-Don’t... I’ll be your partner...” He grinned and hugged them back, lifting them into the air and holding them tightly against him.
“Finally!”
