The three of you would have celebrated the holiday if your captain just decided to stay on the ship and not bring any attention to himself. The plan was that the three of you would go to a restaurant in town (some coercing was needed to convince Nami). The three of you were so close to just walking into the restaurant when your straw hat wearing captain ran in your direction with a crowd of marines yelling and running after him.
After running for your lives (Usopp having to drag you along after you wanted to fight them for even trying to shoot at him and Nami), the three of you finally were able to rest along with the other members once the ship set sail away from the shore. Your two lovers were resting in the girls’ room (as it was bigger and there was an actual king’s size bed to lay on) while you went to take a bath. You could tell that they were upset about the whole thing but they put up a good front while you were in the room. You stepped into the bath and the warm water was soothing to your strained muscles. You sunk down low enough for the water to cover your mouth, your nose helping you breathe slowly.
Your thoughts drifted to your boyfriend and your girlfriend. You wished you could have done something for them on this holiday. You frowned to yourself as every idea you came up with was shut down by your own inner voice. Anything you came up with wasn’t, what you believed, up to the standards you wanted for your partners. You sighed and shook your head at the negativity, opting to just spend the night with them, maybe initiate the cuddling for once. You blushed lightly at the thought.
Stepping out of the bath, you dried yourself down with a towel and got dressed. You dried your short red hair and smoothed the standing strands before going to the girls’ room. You didn’t see the light seeping out of the bottom of the doorway and you raised an eyebrow, wondering if the two of them had fallen asleep already.
When you opened the door, however, your green eyes widened and a blush filled your cheeks as your partners grinned at you. The room was decorated with candles resting on the dresser and along the wall on any piece of furniture that had a flat surface. On the nightstand, there was a small bouquet of roses that looked a bit squished but they were still in full bloom and the scent was heavenly even from where you were standing.
You snapped out of your bewilderment when you felt arms wrap around you and a smile against your neck where Nami was nuzzling you.
“Surprise, Ruby!” She chirped happily, squeezing you happily. You wrapped your arms around her, still looking around.
“Did you two plan this?” Usopp stepped over, holding a small box of what you guessed was chocolates.
“Nope. It just coincided with each other. We both wanted to surprise the other two so this worked in our favor.” He scratched the back of his head and motioned to the roses. “Those, uh, kind of got squished when we were running away.” You smiled at your stuttering boyfriend and used one hand to put on his cheek, the other was wrapped around Nami’s shoulder and rubbing her shoulder. You coaxed him to you and pressed a light kiss on his lips, his skin burning under your palm at your gentle gesture. You felt small presses against your jaw and you slowly broke away from your kiss with Usopp, leaving him a blushing mess.
“I want a kiss too, Ruby.” You laughed a little at Nami’s small pout. You pressed a kiss to Nami’s forehead and reached for the chocolate that Usopp held out to you. You plopped the chocolate in your mouth and hummed softly at the flavor.
“Let’s cuddle together for a while.” She grinned and pressed a kiss to your lips, making you blush from getting surprised like that. She dragged you and Usopp to lay down on the bed, the two of them littering you with kisses and sandwiching you in the middle.
You cuddled up closer between the two of them, relishing in their warmth and cheesy words that came out of their lips, the occasion of Valentine’s Day bringing out the love the two of them had for you.
