Nads6969 Victim 62 - Starseed86 with special mention to the Sailor Moon Sacrifice fanmade OVA project

So apparently there was a fanmade OVA a while back called Sailor Moon Sacrifice, so the project called for a lot of animators and a lot of artists.  One of those artists was Youtuber Starseed86, who produced this piece of artwork as credited to them on the Sailor Moon Sacrifice tumblr:

The exchange is certainly a treat.  After getting called out for tracing this work, Ms. Stepputat pulls the “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” shtick.  I like this person’s response:

Kaosu Studios proudly presents the first scene in the new Sailor Moon; Sacrifice. We’ve come a long way since we began in 2007.

Thank you so much to our lights of hope for being forever supportive. This project would be nothing without you. This scene is not entirely complete nor is it correctly timed (it does go a little fast), which will most likely occur in most future scene uploads up until the final release of the movie. (IE – we may decide later down the road to remove or add something to this scene – say a reaction shot from Kurai, or additional dialogue that will require another angle of our favorite felines.) In shorter terms…Nothing is set in stone, but the base is there. The VAs and script are not solid, and will not be until all scenes are completed. VAs can come and go, scripts can change, as can plot points. Some voices heard will be fill-ins until we are able to cast the character. In this scene’s instance, Luna, is voiced by Ame, but she will not keep the role. (She has two others with Sacrifice already!)

Sailor Moon; Sacrifice has returned from the cauldron, the Kaosu Studios team is now lead by three members, as opposed to just one. We are going back to our horror roots as we promised Sacrifice would be from the beginning. Fatal frame was and always has been the original inspiration for Sacrifice, and we will be paying homage to it as per our original vision. The acts of Sacrifice will no longer be continued. We are starting over from scratch with what Sacrifice was supposed to be from the beginning. Due to our lack of skills back in the beginning we were not able to show you the real story. Production has already started and we will now be releasing scene by scene videos as opposed to acts to bring your more frequent and quality content. In the end, the scenes will be complied in to a movie with bonus scenes. This means more uploads, and less wait time. Thank you for your support, our lights of hope.
