We aren't even asking for 15gbp, it's 15usd, which is a whole lot less. Especially when you live in a city like I do where minimum wage full time would not cover the cheapest rent, we really need a raise.
Whoops I did mean to write 15usd
But yeah similar issues here, the big one is people working but having to 'top up' their wages with benefits because of low wages/hours
But then apparently all the people on benefits 'get too much and live in the lap of luxury' (although when I had to claim even though I lived at home the money I had barely stretched the allocated fortnight and that was with me being extremely careful with my money)

Oh I love that one, too. This is more of my mother offering up my services without consulting me first and then being guilted into doing it.

go and get one yourself! I managed to find myself super tiny ones that are inexpensive, or like go to tesco or something and get a random potted plant and decorate it. Grab Christmas by the balls! Take it for yourself!
We do have a tree, but as to where my parents have it I don't know. I mean things at home have been a bit up in the air so it's just there's not been the time to get to it.
