Julia, congrats!!!! Omg, I hope you also get the job. I'm from Brazil, but I've spent a winter in France where there were freak snowstorms, and I also survived Sweden in - 17 C at fall (like idek) and my advice is to invest in at least two pairs of reallly good snow boots and at least an awesome light winter coat. I also shelled about 47 euros in at emergency mittens in Stockholm, so it's best to invest in at least four types of mittens so that you can be comfortable in mild to heavy winter

I'll inbox you some pics of my gear if you want, they're almost 6 years old and in excellent conditions

Also, if you're a skirt/dresses/shorts person like me, there's a lot of great tights options that are thick enough that you don't freeze your legs off

FOUR types of mittens??? Oh my goodness. Please educate me because I can’t even think of more than two! Snow boots is definitely a good tip, and a good winter coat a must, yeah. And I am ABSOLUTELY a skirt/dress person so I’m alarmed about the reality of transitioning my wardrobe to a midwest winter. Usually I take my summer dresses, put on a sweater, and *tada* winter outfit! So, yeah, any tips are appreciated. Thanks <3
