July 26th is the Feast Day for Saint Anne / Anna. In some traditions, she is believed to be the grandmother of Christ and mother of Mary.

Saint Anna is also my Matron Saint! My family did not intend to name me after a saint. Nevertheless, I feel very connected to her and feel fortunate that we share a name!

Jamaica’s first medical marijuana dispensary opened it’s doors to the public in March 2018, with specific focus on health and wellness in the tourism industry. The herb house will have varied types of marijuana, ganja equipment such as rolling paper, lighters, pipes and grinders. FYI :: Visitors to Jamaica may apply to the Ministry of Health for a permit to legally purchase and possess up to 2oz of medical ganja or ganja products for medical or therapeutic purposes. A valid medical marijuana card from another country will be reciprocated.
