in my avatar the last airbender x saint seiya au the gold saints would all be benders except for aiolos and shura who are suki-like non-benders (aiolos would be an archer, and shura a sword master)

shaka and mu would probably be airbenders….. but shaka would definitely be a more yangchen like airbender and mu would be more similar to aang.

while aldebaran and dohko are earthbenders. I could see dohko being a metalbender while aldebaran would be more of a lavabender ?

aphrodite would be a waterbender like those waterbender from the swamp episode that can control plants, milo would be a waterbender specialised in bloodbending and camus would be a waterbender specialised in icebending (and maybe healing ? idk)

aiolia is ofc a firebender and more specifically a lightningbender while saga would be a combustionbender… and idk where to put deathmask he does give me more firebender vibe however he could also be maybe a non-bender that’s into spirit-bending ? it’s hard to tell

Shun is the one that tells Hyoga he want to be with him, the one that take his face and kiss him after decided that what happen with Hades won't stop him for loving, that he loves Hyoga and he want to be with him.

Hyoga is more than happy to be with Shun, to take him in his arms, to kiss him and prottect him, be the suport he need in his worst moments, to feel love by a men like shun to feel worthy of his love and protection

come to think of it, i think Saori IS over protective of her bronce saints, or at last the ones she grew up with.

She will protect Shun if people bad mouth him for his delicet and sometimes femenine way of been.

She will defend Hyoga is people say he should be out of the contry.

She will stan up for Seiya if people say he is stupid.

She will defend Shiryu if people try to tell him what to do.

and of course she will go out her way to talk for Ikki when people are overwelding him and trying to provoke a reaction out of him.

she knows them the best, she knows that even if they are odd for all those years of trying and death they are still warm and gentle men that need love and protection and she will give them that
