Apparently some people still need to hear this so: using an 'ai checker' is still using ai. If you are feeding someone's fic to one of these checkers, you will still not be sure their fic is ai because they are not 100% accurate, but you can be 100% sure that you are using ai. For fic. Furthermore you are doing the work of an ai scraper for them. You are, personally, feeding the machine. There is no actual excuse for using an ai checker on fanfic as a hobby. YOU are the problem.
If you think a fic is ai, mute it and move on. That's it. That's all you do.
Happy radish family!

PENELOPE PACT AU🫵🤨(cuz it's hilarious)
What if it was Telemachus who proposed an idea to his mom's suitors?
The pact thing Odysseus did(aka the oath of Tyndareus)
Y'know...
Like father, like son kinda thing.
(antinous' imagination)
(end of antinous' imagination)
And what if...
Hear me out.
What if, instead of disguising himself as a beggar...
Odysseus disguised himself as this charming noble from a faraway kingdom he definitely made up, and WOOED his own wife?
And Penelope DID get got (allegedly).
And the name of the made-up country is...
LMAOOOO, it's the island of Ithacatotheleft...ia.
Best part is, Pene knows, and she just plays along, while Ody thinks his rizz is so good he's making his wife fall in love with him all over again.
So, since Penelope chose not-Odysseus, or whom he calls himself, Nobodysseus...
The rest of the suitors have to honor the pact Telemachus proposed, and they can just be mad in the corner.
P.S. Telemachus has zero clue that "Lord Nobodysseus" is actually his dad.
Too many Odyssey adaptations make Poseidon look like he has random beef and was being petty, or defending his cannibal son no reason, because I need to specify that Odysseus:
-sacked the shit out of a city he was patron of
-using deceotion hiding in a statue shaped like a symbol of his
-despite this Poseidon helped Odysseus out by sending a sea serpent to eat a guy yelling that the Trojan Horse was a trap
-Greeks then brutally sacked the city
-made no offerings for the gods and Odysseus took credit talking about how smart he was
-Odysseus then proceeds to meet his son and blind him
-Odysseus used deception again and would have got away with it, but proceeds to leave his full government name and address behind whils bragging about how smart he is
Like everyone, I'm very sad about Sam Neill's passing. He may not have started my passion for dinosaurs, but he certainly owned the role that helped a lot of people discover and love them. Could we have had a better Alan ? I don't think so. Chemistry, wit, charm, and that determination that made him such a badass. He was the best fit and I hope he'll be remembered for years and years, for this role and all the others. Goodbye, Mr Neill, and of course, thank you.

ENGLISH BELOW
ALORS
Do we know how Monsieur's minions behaved with his kids? Were they as hypocritical as the other courtiers?
SO
We don't really know, no. With his daughters, we barely have any infos; I feel like I read somewhere that Marie-Louise got along with the chevalier rather decently, but I can't find the source so I won't affirm it.
What we do know, is that Philippe II remained close to Effiat, and that he even offered Chev to not only keep his apartments, but also to maintain the allowance that Phil was paying him (Chev refused the allowance, but kept the apartments.) Either Philippe II was immensely generous, which I don't doubt for a second, or, on top of that, we could deduce that they got along well enough. Technically, Philippe II's interests seemed to match well with Chev and Effiat's, so I wouldn't be surprised that they got along quite well and that they even influenced him (much to Liselotte's dismay)
