In 2020, I was inspired by the work of another photographer and model, and REALLY wanted to do a Saints/Angel photo shoot. I normally shoot pinup and dark, creative themes, so I REALLY wanted to do something softer and more ethereal.
I designed and sewed 3 different, angel looks, and worked with satin, lace and appliqués. I created 4 different halos; each had a unique look and theme. Using a ready-made, articulating base, I designed and sewed a set of sheer angel wings. Since each look is so unique, I’ll elaborate on them individually in the next posts.
