Jan. 2022 : if you've been to the Harry Potter exhibition at the Franklin institute, you have most likely come across a few of projects that I actually got to work on. 😀
The fabrication company that I work for, was hired to do some of the pieces for that exhibit. I got to do a lot of the detail work on the giant Wands that were on display. The Wands were first sculpted by a special machine, and then given a protective coating. I used a "peanut butter"-like epoxy to give some of the wands a light wood texturing, followed by a light sanding when the epoxy was dry.
