Understanding #Hashtags and their importance to you #SaintAsonia

When a hashtag starts to trend, it means that lots of people are using that hashtag. Not only are people tweeting and posting about that topic, they are also most likely viewing streams that are dedicated to that hashtag. Thus, if you use that same hashtag, a huge audience is likely to see it. Your hashtag will reach beyond your follower base.

For fans new to Twitter Trending, one of the easiest ways is help Trend is to search the #hashtag that we’re trying to trend :) (The search window is on the right-hand side of your Twitter ‘Home’ page)

For instance, if we’re trying to trend the hashtag of: #SaintAsonia, you’ll Search for that, and when the Search Results show up, click on “All” and then just click on that #SaintAsonia Hashtag, and the tweets related to it should show up :)

Then, just Retweet the ones you like :) (Please only Retweet the ones with either no 'RT’ beside them, or only one 'RT’ next to them. If there are more 'RTs’ than that beside the Tweet, the #Hashtag might get cut off.)

To Retweet another fan’s Tweet, please just scroll your mouse over the bottom right hand side of the Tweet you want to Retweet, and the option will appear. Then just click it. :)

Continue to Retweet/Create your own Tweets as fast as you can, until we are 'Trending’, and then Please continue to Retweet/Tweet to keep us 'Trending’ :)

To see if our #Hashtag is Trending, scroll down to the right-hand side of your Twitter 'Home’ page, and refresh the 'Worldwide’ option, or any other options, to look for our tag

A hashtag is this: # and you place it in front of the word/name that you are trying to trend :)

Please keep the chosen hashtags uniform/the same to have a better chance of trending :)

Only One # Hashtag is allowed per tweet (more than one and your tweet won’t count towards trending)
