So, what got me into babyshark? The dynamic. I was so fascinated by Emma, fell in love with her and I wanna write something about her. Then I saw Park in ep 10, and I love that they very intentionally try to make him look like a shark. His eyes, the tautness around his mouth (I've seen lfj in 911, so I know that's his acting choice to hold his face a certain way when he plays Brendon Park).

I've always loved taboo dynamic, dark psychosexual warfare theme, the underlying power dynamic, it's all right up my alley. Brendon Park serves that purpose to Emma Nolan. That's why you'll see me posting about my Ellis x Emma rarepair, and Sevika x Emma crackship, but not a peep about Brendon's other ship. He's the perfect guy for it too, he only showed up for 50 seconds, so I can create a whole new background for him.

Them not knowing each other is exactly what I'm relying on. I hope they never do. I hope the actors don't interact much irl, due to some peeps I've heard about lfj. I've been in fandom a long time, none of my main ships in the past 10 years were canon.

Also I don't care much for the canon, really. Emma was raised by white grandmother in canon, and those who knows me, knows how strongly I disdain that writing choice.

Robby yells at Emma about something and Dana immediately defends her, it’s probably something relatively simple but Emma is a new nurse and she’s still getting used to actually practicing instead of just reciting facts in a classroom. Behind her Dana is silent as she corrects her mistake but Robby looks over and says, “didn’t you go to nursing school, this is basic stuff Emma.”

Emma is pretty scared of Robby still and most of all just embarrassed for being called so publicly, she’s staring a hole into the floor when she hears Dana’s voice behind her, “Jesus Robinavich what’s gotten into ya, yelling at my nurse like that. And in front of a patient too. As if the doctors don’t make mistakes all the time, give me a break.”

“I was just saying that-“
