I’ve learned to accept that uncertainty is okay. It’s actually truly wonderful. It takes you down many different paths, never tied down to one decision for forever. I was always uncertain growing up on what I wanted to do with my life. I was always changing career paths and hobbies, losing interest in a variety of things. I was constantly filled with self doubt. Listening to negative comments from family members for always changing my mind or giving up on this or that. And maybe that’s just society’s delusion that you have to choose one thing and one thing only to do for the rest of your life. I realized once I met other individuals from different walks of life that you absolutely don’t have to go with the society norm. It’s okay to change your mind. How liberating it is to be able to say, “I don’t enjoy that anymore, I’m going to try something new!” Growing up I had lots of visions of what or where I would be in my life at 27. Living on a tiny island I have never heard of certainly wasn’t one of them, but it’s turned out to be one of the best decisions. And I can guarantee you in time I’ll have changed my mind again and be on to other pursuits. And that’s okay. You are allowed to pursue whatever in this world brings you happiness whenever. . . . . . “If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine, it is lethal.” — Paulo Coelho . . . . . #saipan #saipanlife #mymarianas #cnmi #travel #wanderlust #lifesanadventure #nomad #nomadlife #lifestyle #travellife
