Been looking at xenogender labels (because my brain decided that’s the best path for me), and I decided I’m a little something called Saiyangender. I wasn’t sure if anyone else had already thought of it because…there’s like…nothing out there on it. BUT it turns out that this one person on Twitter had indeed made such a label, and a flag to go along with it.
Howeverrrr…. The flag seems to be entirely Goku-centric - which is fine, don’t get me wrong! But personally I don’t feel like it’s really inclusive of other Saiyans if you get what I mean, soooooo…I decided to make an alternate flag.
The first three stripes are similar to the original, just rearranged. Color-picked from SSGSS Goku, SSG Goku, and SSJ2 Gohan, the first three stripes represent rising above and overcoming challenges, growing stronger, and the power to transcend everything (including gender).
The last three stripes, however, have double meaning. Color-picked from King Vegeta, Shallot, and Bardock, the last three stripes could either represent:
A: The three classes of Saiyans, as the colors are picked from High, Middle, and Low Class Saiyans respectively,
Or B: The first red stripe represents modern Saiyans; the blue stripe represents ancient or Sadalan Saiyans; and the last stripe represents the fact that, at the (literal) base, at the core, we’re all still Saiyans regardless of class or power level or origin, and we stand strongest together.
Soooo, what do you guys think of it? /gen
