⛩🔆YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING SAIYUKI🔆⛩

For many of you who have been following me for years, you know I've been into Saiyuki for awhile. My goal is bring my favorite series to light that way more people can watch it. Saiyuki is so underrated, it's sad. This series has become my comfort anime. Everytime I'm in a funk, I just watch the funniest episode or 2 to cheer me up. I always seem to be going back to this series every year.

Cho Hakkai is one of my favorite Saiyuki characters. I love everything about him. I've been meaning to cosplay bloody Cho Gonou for awhile. I quickly made some FAKE BLOOD that same day since hardly any of the places I get my fake blood at sells them. His hair is a tad longer before he joined up with Sanzo's group. This did happen 3 years before their journey westward.

If you are following my TikTok account, be prepared for some bloody Cho Gonou videos that's not for the faint of heart.

After all, he was a murderer who slaughtered 1K demons. It's also specified that he killed many humans in his hometown as well. If you know, you know.🙃

I also decided to bring out Tenpou(Hakkai's Godlike form) for the sake of TikTok content. He was fun for a couple of videos for transitioning from a God to his reincarnated form.

I get most of my inspiration through my cosplaying by watching the Saiyuki Stage Plays. Most fans don't know unless you look them up. There are a bunch of them. They go by manga order:

For those that don't know, I have been most active on TikTok. One of the trends that have been going around is the "Wipe It Down" Challenge. I saw a lot of people were doing this trend in and out of cosplay so I decided to try something different.

philia, storge, agape and eros.

I just had a Saiyuki nostalgia moment. Please don’t mind me. 

But seriously, everyone should read Saiyuki Gaiden even if they don’t like Saiyuki or don’t care for it. It’s literally my favourite arc. 

Not only is it well written and drawn, there’s so much feeing in Gaiden. 

It taught me a lot about love; philia, storge, agape and eros. 

Through Goku’s love for his fatherly figure, Konzen. His love for his only friend in heaven, Nataku. Nataku’s need for his father’s love. And finally through Konzen who found his reason to live from all the love he’s received from everyone around him. No spoilers though. It’s such a wonderful arc even if it’s the saddest one.
