“You said General Tano’s men were smart. Our shinies could’ve figured that out in half the time.”
“Different skillset. Besides, not everyone can be as sharp as the Corries, Fox.”
I accidentally made a ‘what if Enaya hadn’t become a Commander’ AU…
It got out of hand.
So have the end result of a rather convoluted plot where she becomes a highly qualified Healer, then passes trials to become a Temple Guard for all of two years before accidentally getting way too involved with the chips.
Which is great because no Order 66, but means ‘Enaya Varados’ ends up in the public eye too much to continue her Guard duties.
At least she gets to work with her favourite Commander in her new legion.*
And meet up much more often with Ahsoka who’s temporarily taken over the 501st while Anakin recovers from Sidious’ Lightning.
*Since she never had to leave Coruscant in this AU, Fox has pretty much seen Enaya grow up from when he helped in her rescue when she was 12, all the way to her becoming a Knighted Healer at 21. She did a lot of shifts in the Corries medbay.
So when a spot opens up because the skills learned as a Temple Guard mean she’s more than qualified for her own legion, he immediately takes it. Bonus cause he and a bunch of the Coruscant Guard need to get off Coruscant anyway with all the conspiracy.
idk if anyone likes my fanfic and follows me on here. but uh...yay new chapter finally. lifes been rough so writings been slow, but it's not abandoned <3

Desc: Claude is just worried about his fiance’s safety, like always. From my Good Ends AU, post war.
I suck at writing forgive me-
Byleth sheathed the Sword of Seiros in her sword hilt. She was getting ready to go out on yet another bandit skirmish. Apparently, they’ve been causing the townsfolk and traveling merchants unrest, as they always do. But she was personally going out to quell the problem once and for all.
Claude had just returned from his voyage to Almyra. It’s almost been one year since the end of the war and his departure from Fodlan. He’d finally come back to his peaceful new world and to his beautiful future wife, Byleth. He noticed her preparing for battle from around the corner, and he shut his eyes and sighed. He loved her to death, but he honestly wished she would stop getting herself into these battles.
“Again, By? Really?” Claude muttered, approaching her. She turned to face him.
“It’ll only be a few hours, journey, battle, and back,” she reassured him. “I promise, this will be the last one for a while. I intend to suppress this particular group of bandits permanently.”
“I know, I know...But you know I hate when you go to battle. We’re supposed to be enjoying each other’s company on the Star Terrace, and instead, you’re wielding your sword yet again. Aren’t you sick of the fighting?”
“More than anything. If I could cast aside my sword for the rest of my days, I would. But I have to do this to ensure peace is kept in Fodlan forevermore.”
“Can’t you ask Dimitri or Edelgard to go instead?”
Byleth eyes him. “They have enough on their hands already as it is, being co-rulers of Fodlan. I’m not going to throw anymore work on them, Claude.”
“...” Claude inhaled sharply. “...If you must fight, then go. But please come back safely, By. I couldn’t stand it if you got even a scratch on you.”
“Claude...” she smiled warmly and took a hand with both of hers. “Thank you for worrying about me. I know you do it out of love. But if I can handle Nemesis, then I can handle a mere bandit. You don’t have to worry. I’m sure your smart head can deduct an absolute victory of mine.”
Claude had to agree, this wasn’t her first battle and she was well experienced, from both the present and time’s past. And he could confidently say that she would win.
“Yeah. Alright, alright. Go on then. Make me proud.” Claude smiled.
“I will, my love. I will see you soon enough.” she replied, and they shared a small kiss before she departed.
------
“How could this happen...?!” Byleth scolded herself. She had dearly underestimated the situation at hand. They were so close to beating the leader and then more came out of nowhere....a simple move, yet Byleth was so rusty, she couldn’t have predicted it. A rookie mistake. A deadly one.
A young archer girl who was training for the Knights had been in harm's way. Clearly learning nothing from Sothis’s past scoldings, she jumped in front of the trainee to use her body as a shield. The axe from the bandit had torn a large gash across her shoulders and chest. The bleeding was bad, and the more experienced knights had to carry her away. One of the knights had removed their cape and used it to wrap around Byleth’s wound. The young archer followed, repeatedly apologizing to Byleth. Byleth weakly replied not to trouble herself over it, but her real worries were with Claude. He was not going to take this news lightly.
Byleth presently was resting in the infirmary, Manuela preparing painkillers for Byleth to take when it was time for her to leave.
“You’re lucky, you know,” Manuela commented.
“I know.”
As expected, Claude practically broke down the door. Byleth sighed painfully and looked away. Manuela took her cue and left them alone, closing the door behind her.
Claude stormed to the bed where she was laying down. His brow was furrowed. “You promised.”
“I know, but things got complicated, and I had to save a student-” she managed to explain before grabbing her shoulder and wincing in pain. Even speaking caused her to overexert herself.
“You made a promise, By. I trusted that you wouldn’t hurt yourself, and then you go and do this! I-! I.....” Claude took deep breaths and calmed himself. Getting worked up over it only caused her pain, and he didn’t want to do more damage.
“I’m sorry, Claude...You put your trust in me and I let you down...”
Claude felt a wave of guilt coming over him. He hated it when she got like this because, well, he hated seeing her beat herself up over things like this. It was the worst feeling in the world.
He pulled up a chair at her bedside and sat down, leaning over to her and putting his hand over hers. “No, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be yelling at you while you’re injured. I am just so worried over you. I see you like this and it reignites bad memories of you almost dying in the war...I’ll always be hovering over you and worrying.”
“Claude...” she sighed. She wished she could lean over and hug him, to make him feel better and comforted, but the pain stung so bad.....
They were silent a few moments. Then she spoke up. “I do these things because I worry about you.”
“Huh?”
“I fought in the war because I thought your ambitions were so beautiful. I simply want to protect the world we all pitched in to make. Even little things like simple skirmishes.” Byleth explained. “I know you’re pressured, having to be king of two countries. So I thought, if I handled everything over here, he would only have to worry about one-half of these problems....” she whimpered, holding her shoulder again.
“Byleth, oh my Gods, you never EVER have to worry about that,” Claude answered, now grasping her hand tightly. “I have to pitch in too. It’s my responsibility. You have enough on your plate, being the archbishop and ruler AND handling all the royal business, not to mention food and taxes and all sorts of things. You’re doing plenty. More than you should be, I’m ashamed to say.”
Byleth swallowed her emotions. Whenever he started calling her Byleth, she knew he was talking seriously.
“If anything, I should be asking if you need anything. Just please...” he began twiddling with her hair. “Stop endangering yourself for my sake.”
Byleth felt a stream of warm tears running down her face. Now she just felt regret. “I-I’m sorry.....so sorry.....”
Claude’s bright expression dropped, and he very carefully wrapped his arms around her, being careful not to touch her wound. “It’s alright. Everything’s alright now.”
“I-I’ve just been so determined to relieve your stress and worries and in the end....I-I only worried you m-more.” she sniffled, stifling a sob. If she sobbed now, it would make the wound flare-up.
“Byleth, I’ll always be worried about you.” he voice was soft, calm and gentle as if to ease her. “I always will be. We’re a team. A pair. We must always look out for each other. I just want you to live long enough for us to actually enjoy the rest of our lives together.” Claude sat up and wiped the tears away, planting a kiss on her forehead. “Okay?”
Calming down, Byleth left her eyes shut and answered. “O-Okay.”
“Next time, maybe let El or Dimi handle it, alright? They can handle it, that’s for sure,” he smirked.
Byleth opened her eyes, filled with her love for him and she smiled back. Damn, he was ALWAYS weak for that face. “I will.”
Tag Team - Age 20, year 7/8 of the war. Within the Order, Enaya and Ahsoka are Knighted, trusted with all the information and given the freedoms and respect of a Jedi Knight.
To the Senate and on official records, they’re senior Padawans so Anakin and Obi-Wan can keep them a little safer on the battlefield. Anakin was young when he was Knighted out of necessity, but circumstances (and a lot of meddling) kept him close to Obi-Wan. But both men know when their Padawans are knighted, they’ll be sent across the galaxy.
All this means is that the 501st and 212th are scheming to either split their armies again or vet out a couple of new legions for the Padawans with at least some trusted brothers in command.
Until then, they’ll take full advantage of having the girls around, scheduling breaks and time to relax. If that means Rex orders Ahsoka out the training room, and Ahsoka pulls Enaya early from a slow shift in the medbay, well. Even Plas and Kix cut short when they have nothing to do.
“You think that’s bad? Master Obi-wan keeps jumping out as soon as we touch the breathable atmosphere-“
Early days: Just a couple of padawans talking about the madness their Masters get up to while waiting for a transport.
Ahsoka and Enaya are crèchemates (along with Daesha and Izhala) and despite or maybe because of their opposite personalities, have always been very close. Hearing they’d share so many missions was a relief, especially with how rarely they saw the two older girls.
As for the missions themselves, between Ahsoka’s penchant for causing trouble and Enaya’s ability to talk them out of consequences - easily able to pull obscure laws out of thin air after spending so many hours memorising things as a healer - things always got interesting. Doubly so considering who their Masters are.
(Edited to add Enaya’s scars)
Design Stuff:
Ahsoka’s Armour: With her super acrobatic fighting style, the idea is all the blue and white stripes make her literally dizzying to look at.
Enaya’s Armour: This is her first armour set. As she grows, she gets new pieces in dark blue/black until she gets to the design sheet.
Because listen. Even if their Masters have a death wish, I’m 110% sure they’d put the kids in as much armour as possible without restricting movement.
Also this is S1 Ahsoka with some clothing edits for obvious reasons.
Art only allowed for personal use ie. phone/laptop wallpapers.

FPAU - Meet Enaya Varados! An incredibly strong healer and Padawan to Obi-wan Kenobi. Grew up with Ahsoka, Daesha, and Izhala as an inseparable group of best friends.
As a healer, Enaya was never meant to be a General’s padawan, but new Senate laws demanded any Jedi over 12 to be sent out lest the Order be shut down entirely. To try and give the youngest more time, the Jedi asked if the oldest younglings about to be chosen for other disciplines might be willing to go on the field. They accepted. Enaya, now 15, was one of them.
Luckily she and Obi-wan knew each other and had always shared a bond. He made arrangements, checked with the men, and took her on with a promise to give as much time as he could to focus on her healing.
Personality: A total sweetheart. Soft spoken and shy except in the medbay where she reveals the backbone that gets everyone from stubborn generals to senators to do what she needs them to.
Combat: Favours a defensive fighting style because of her medical background that focuses on protecting patients. Outside of healing, Enaya’s connection to the Force is a fair bit weaker than the average Jedi, so she relies more on outwitting and manoeuvring around her opponents. This gives her an edge in situations where she’s cut off from the Force, or they can’t use it to avoid exposing themselves.
Zefar IV: Enaya is from a planet called Zefar IV, part of a system unknown to the rest of the Galaxy, but full of Light and Dark Force nexuses constantly battling against each other. It’s left its people and land with some strange magics and skills embedded in their bones. For Enaya, this manifests as an incredibly strong Healing of a kind the Jedi have rarely seen. Especially strange because of the generally weaker Force connection.
As always, feel free to ask anything about her or this AU!
(Sidenote: In this AU the clone wars last about 9 years and ends with Palps’ defeat. This is Enaya about 5/6 years into it.)
Ok so a lot of people have Steven loving the idea of meeting the Avengers and Marc like ‘hell nah’ but hear me out.
Steven as a Brit perfectly happy being away from the mess that’s the Avengers and American superheroes. Marc comes along and sure, he’s chill with that even when they becomes Moon Knight again because it’s an Egyptian based thing. And it wasn’t exactly his choice.
One day (after they’ve negotiated a new deal with Khonshu and are MK again) the Avengers come knocking. Marc is wary ofc with his general history and no doubt not entirely trusting their vibes.
Steven however is entirely *done.*
It was bad enough just dealing with their own things, the last thing he wants is to be dragged off to the US to join whatever rubbish these guys keep getting into. He’s happy in London. Yeah these guys are cool from a distance but he does *not* want to get involved.
It’s a very validating experience for Marc to have Steven take front and tell off whoever had the audacity to come knocking at 3am for their complete disregard of privacy and firmly shut the door with a ‘come back at a more reasonable hour, yeah? We’ll talk then.’
“I thought you’re *Moon Knight.* Don’t you work at night?”
“It’s the middle of summer. Sunrise is literally in half an hour and some of us actually need a job to make money.”
Bonus points if Layla’s there too holding back laughter at the complete shock on said superhero/agent’s face.
They do actually want to make friends with this Moon Knight guy or at least get to know him better since he did save a bunch of people, so they back off. But you best bet Steven’s grumbling the whole time when Marc takes point and reluctantly agrees to help out.
(I don’t think Marc particularly enjoys going back to the US purely based on trauma associations. He’ll do it, even enjoy it. But flashbacks and triggers lurk a little closer. Though with Steven now it might be a bit better. Also it probably depends on where he’s visiting state wise because accents and general architectural similarities n stuff vary.
Also also because in Ep3 we find out he and Layla had a place in London st least for a while. ‘I found him living 20 minutes from our old place.’)
For some reason I just cannot see Jango with the same face as his clones. Like the amount of times I’ve gone to draw this guy and my brain short circuits like. Wait. Wait-
Anyway it would be really funny if Jango didn’t in fact die on Geonosis and all the clones are having a blast absolutely destroying his reputation. The older ones knew him well enough to do perfect impressions down to voice tone and body language. Plus various Mando’a phrases picked up from the early trainers. And they proudly pass these skills on.
And for those clones who’ve already got grey streaks from all the stress? They can pass for him without a helmet on too.
