by definition, hokuto is a thorough guy. his own fundamentality emphasizes on the understanding of every aspect in a situation. so to be pulled into a project that seemed so mysterious yet be so explicit at the same time was... well, unsatisfying. 

seeing as his fated pairs are... carefree (read: dumb) in their own right, he couldn’t exactly find answers to his pressing questions from them. thus, his mind instead prompts him to search for testimonies from other fated individuals at café town. 

there’s a handful of people around him, he notes, but he decides to single out the person closest to him.

         ❝pardon me, i hope i’m not interfering with any of your plans but i’d like to hear your opinion on this setting.❞ he starts.

         ❝you’re fated, right? how do you feel about your current circumstances? ❞

Mochi soup, mochi soup... Where do they keep the ingredients for mochi soup here? Or rather, do the minimarts here even sell them? Careful eyes examined the sections of the minimart, trying to locate some satoimo for her soup... Until she noticed her. 

Okay, to be exact, she noticed her long, flowing pink hair first. A rather petite girl ( compared to Kaoru herself, at least ), struggling to reach out to something on the shelves. A damsel in distress, huh? This was her call. Striding towards the direction of the girl, Kaoru stopped behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

❝ Trying to reach out for something, little kitten? Maybe I can help. ❞

Floral Interest (Closed - Mairuka)

Feeling in quite the more cheerful mood on knowing that at very least - there were some other folk who hailed from Yilesse that he knew here as well and he didn’t have to worry as much of being completely alone with nobody he knew of here, Laurent had headed off to a place that apparently held a great variety of potted plants in a much better mood than he had been when he’d first teleported here.

Even if he’d only seen one, Morgan - and worried for his friend missing family members, of course - if two of them from Yilesse were here, logic pertained no doubt the others would eventually find them here as well, would they not? He felt so, at least, as ‘childishly optomistic’ as he knew that may sound. He’d certainly keep an eye out for the others for Morgan’s sake, at least, though.

That matter aside, he wanted to adopt a few plants to keep inside his ‘castle room’ himself - there were potted plants outside the castle, but you couldn’t use those for cooking or herbal medicines, as they were for everyone to enjoy. Now that he was at the plant shop, though: there were so many wonderful herbs and fruit seeds that he didn’t have a clue as to what to pick first!

Dear oh dear.

Someone help this mage before he just stares at the shelving all day?
