the beginning adventures of brothers pt1
Jax and Patrick had honestly not expected to fall into the deep hole in the ground it just somehow happened. When the two awoke they saw a turtle with a baseball cap. "What happened and why is there a turtle?" Jax asked. "I have no clue how the turtle survived or how we did." Jax immediately took interest in it and dawned the turtle Steve. "Do we really need to bring the turtle?" Jax nodded "we need someone to keep us company." Jax said before the three continued into the hole seeing no way to get out. They arrived at a house once rain seemed to start pounding onto them. "I'ma keep my fist up." Patrick calmed his brother and told him to stay calm and not attack whoever, if anyone , even lived there. Jax lowered his fist slightly still keeping his stance though. Patrick knocked on a door and a buffalo monster answered. "Why hello humble travelers." Jax went to throw a fist but Patrick caught it and said yellow to the monster. "Sorry about my older brother, he's a bit nervous around new people. Anyways, where are we?". The buffalo monster chuckled " It's ok and you're in the Kingdom of Roses but it's only called that for show since this is actually a village. My name is Gareth and if you would like, you may enter my house to get out of the rain." Patrick was hesitant but agreed and went inside with his brother. It was a few hours later when Gareth suddenly noticed the turtle. "I see you found the old girl." Patrick looked at Gareth confused "how do you know the turtle Steve?" Gareth smiled "well she was the first living thing to ever fall into the underground and is the first living thing you see but mysteriously disappears." Jax decided to try and seem friendly with Gareth and soon learned that he was a well known Scientist for the people that lived in the underground. "Can you show us around the Kingdom?" Gareth thought for a moment before nodding "yes I can but we will go in the morning." Gareth was quick to bed the brothers to a spare bedroom that had a bunk bed. A door slammed making the brothers jump. "I am sorry about that. My daughter must have come home early. You'll probably meet her tomorrow. The door locks from the inside if you want to lock it and I hope you both sleep well." Gareth left leaving the brothers to think over everything.
