Sultana Meryem of the Rhohynar ( ASOMAM OC )
Salahuddin El Martill ( Sultan of tbe Rhohynar in ASOMAM and maternal granddad of Princess Layla of the Ghiscari ) 's queen is Meryem Al- Amdullah, who was borne a Princess of a Jerusalem city state near the Rhohynar, and her marriage to Salahuddin united many tribes of the Rhohynar and neighboring regions
Elegant and very religious, she was trained as an Assalaam Faith priestess before she became Sultana of the Rhohynar
She is also inspired by Ismat Ad Din Khatun and Al Khazyrun
Meryem Al Amdullah first showed up in the Rhohynar at 17 as a new member of the Haqodeshi Embassy in the Rhohynar, and she becomes a Priestess of the Rhohynish Court
But Salahuddin loved her since the first meeting and wants to make her his Queen
After a series of dramas, arrangements and a slow burn courtship between the 2, Meryem eventually becomes Queen of the Rhohynar
Meryem isn't really one who fights much - she's usually a peacemaker of the family....yet she can be cunning too
Inspired by Ancient Jerusalem, Haqodesh is a powerful city state in between the Rhohynar and Free Cities and also Meryem's homeland.
The city states in the Rhohynish strip ( the region between Free Cities and Rhohynar ) are often mediators between the other 2 regions btw

I think we need Palestine icons and heroes like in the Bible especially at these rates, to remind the world of the resilience of the Palestinians and roar their name proudly on top of their lungs

Sultana Meryem is a very powerful character - not in a warrior way per se, but in a more silk hiding steel way 🥺🥺

Like Meryem is definitely very beautiful - with long dark hair ( greying in her grandma years ) and tanned skin, shapely curvy figure and amber eyes
But she usually dresses modestly and kept herself covered in public ( like many other Rhohynar women ). She only ever takes off her veils in private when she was with her closed ones
