Cumin roasted chickpeas are a crunchy and flavorful snack that's perfect for munching on the go or as a topping for salads and soups. The combination of cumin, paprika, and garlic powder adds a delicious depth of flavor to these crispy chickpeas.
Ingredients: 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt, to taste. Black pepper, to taste.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Pat dry the chickpeas with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy and golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
