“Huh? No, I wasn’t sleeping in my car--”
“Don’t it ever get warm up here? Jesus H. Christ, I’m freezin’ my balls off.”
“The party sounded like a lot of fun, but Halloween’s never really been my thing and trust me when I say, the costumes would’ve been lost on me.”
“So, is it turkey time yet?”
“I already told you. Just because I put the maze together, does not mean I’m going to help you get through it.” Savannah noted with a bright laugh, the corn maze they were currently standing it - at a dead end, masking some of the noise from the fair. “Come on, MacGyver, get us outta’ here.”

Trying to find her footing in Salem’s Point, Emily found herself at the local bar. Dressed in one of her finest black dresses, she sat on a stool near the counter, waiting for god only knows what or who to cross her path, thirsty for more then just alcohol. Perhaps this was a place that could be her beginning or her end, she didn’t know. Jeremiah wasn’t home, and while she waited she grew bored staring at the walls, and with nothing on television. Live action at the bar seemed to be just the thing. But as she sat there, a glass was placed in front of her, “sorry......darling.” She said, licking her lips shifting her gaze to another direction, “i’m trying to cut down on my vodka intake.” She tossed out, all the while joking.
