a Chandler Bing one shot...

this was originally an imagine but I got carried away.

You and Chandler had been seeing each other for some time now but he'd decided to wait for you to meet all his friends. He felt serious about you and you understood it. They were all such an important part of his life he wanted to wait for the right time. The perfect time. Which made you staying at his apartment a bit more difficult with Joey but was visiting his family.

So you stayed the night. You woke up to warm sun rays streaming through his blinds. You rolled over and rubbed the tired from your eyes, yawning. You felt his arm wrap softly around your waist, “Morning” he mumbled out. Tired laced his voice and it made you smile, “Good morning..” You said happily you made a move to get out of bed to grab a drink.

Chandler made a displeased noise that made you giggle, “I’m just getting a glass of water” you said, kissing his forehead. You grabbed a shirt of his from the floor and threw it on. Opening the door you made your way to the cabinets to grab a glass. You heard someone behind you and turned to see who could only assume was Joey.

“Chandler!” Joey let out, making the man in the other room jump from his bed and walk (sprint) out to the kitchen. You simply stood there awkwardly holding your glass of water glancing at Chandler and back at Joey, “Uh..Joe..this is Y/N..” Chandler said clearing his throat nervously, “my, uh, girlfriend” He piped out and you gave a shy wave.

Joey gasped and then ran to get Monica and Rachel, who happen to be talking to Ross and Phoebe. He dragged them to the apartment and you ran over to Chandler. You apologized softly, knowing he'd been nervous to introduce you and this wasn't the way he wanted to do it. He reassured you it wasn't your fault at all.

You'd been introduced to the whole group, wearing only Chandler shirt. He'd explained why he waited so long to introduce you and they all seemed to understand. It warmed your heart to see how much they all loved Chandler.

You'd been friends with Triss for a long while. You'd spent most your life with her. And the second you realized the feelings you had felt for her was the none platonic kind of love. You grew distant. You didn't know what to do. How to admit to her. If she'd feel the same.

And she noticed. She took note of how subtly you would leave whenever she entered. How she tried to talk to you, you would become flustered and nervous. She had finally gathered the courage to completely confront you. You didn't know what to do.

“You’ve been distant.” Was how she started it. You instantly denied it, going to leave, but she gently grasped your hand. You looked at your conjoined hands before your eyes found hers, “I-” You begun but didn't know how to start. “I love you.” was all you muttered out, before removing your hand from hers, in fear of rejection

“Oh, Y/N..” She breathed out gently. “I love you too.” She stated. You shook your head, “No, Triss. I'm in love with you. I have been for some time now..” Triss smiled kindly, “Y/N. I love you.” She repeated before it hit you. She felt the same as you. She reciprocated the feelings you'd been so terrified to share.

Three weeks. That's how long it'd been since Thor had come to your small apartment to tell you he'd watched Loki die.

Three weeks. That's how long it'd been since you're left your apartment. You'd been over it in your head a million times. It wasn't possible. He was a god. Immortal. He couldn't die. But when he didn't come to see you on your birthday...that's when you knew.

The sun was shining as though the love of your life hadn't died. The world moved on. Others lived their life, while you felt yours had come to a stand still. Natasha had come to see you but you couldn't be bothered to even open the door.

You stood up to close the blinds, wanting to just curl in the dark and forget the world. You closed the blinds and sighed heavily, letting tears fall freely. Knowing not a single soul would see them.

“Y/N..”

Your whole body froze in place. That voice. That fine, smooth voice what always seemed to bring happiness to your life. But it was impossible. Your eyes moved the side while your body only stayed in place. You slowly turned, hoping you hadn't begun losing your mind from isolation and grief.

You hadn't been hearing things. You gasped softly, your knees feeling weak, “you..I thought..” you couldn't seem to form a sentence to question how he stood in front of you.

“I know. But, I swear. I'm real. I'm here.” He confirmed, grabbing your hand in his own holding to his beating heart. Your eyes pricked with tears once more as the realization hit you that he was truly there. “don’t you dare ever leave me again..” you muttered out, pulling him as close to your smaller body as you could.

You only felt him nod before speaking, “I won't, I promise you, my love..”

It was enough promise for you to believe him.

And maybe it was stupid to trust the trickster god to easily but it didn't matter to you.

geralt usually just shortens your name or uses your name, if you're lucky you'll get ‘princess’ or ‘gorgeous’ but not often. but he doesn't commonly use nicknames.

jaskier loves nicknames. He'll use them all the time and for any situation. He doesn't have ones he uses more then one other but his favorites seem to be ‘my song bird’ ‘sugarplum’ ‘flower’ and ‘sweetheart’

triss usually is more of a ‘my dear/love’ type. she's used ‘little dove’ once or twice but more simply / commonly ‘my dear’ she'll use ‘my light’ in important moments. when she's more serious she'll just use your name.

steve has a citrus and subtle woody scent that's comforting.

thor has a calming scent of sage and clean lavender with subtle maple woods.

tony smells like ceder wood, scotch, and smoke from his lab.

wanda smells like carmel, pink hawthorne flowers, and birthday cake.

Clumsy. That what you were, an absolute clutz. Which is exactly why you are currently sat in front of Tony while he cleaned out the deep gash in the palm of you hand. All you were doing was try to grab a mug from the top shelf of the cupboard.

You had successfully gotten the mug from the shelf and the moment you turned around. Tony was there, he'd been so incredibly silent that it startled you and you dropped the mug. You'd bent over to pick up all the glass shards you could see and ended up grabbing one the wrong way. It had cut pretty deep. Tony insisted that he help you clean it up, seeing at it was his fault you'd dropped the mug to begin with.

You winched slightly as he cleaned and wrapped it. He mumbled a soft apology, glancing up at you briefly. His rough but gentle hands moved away from your skin. You gave him a grateful smile, "Thanks, I feel like I kind of owe you now.." You said, letting out a soft chuckle.

Tony smirked at you, "Yeah...you owe me a kiss” He said looking at you. You smiled widely, "I can work with that." You gently took his hand in your unharmed on, pulling him closer to you. You set his hand gently around your waist, placing both your hands gingerly around his neck. You pulled him in. What was supposed to be a quick kiss turned into a small make out session.

You both pulled back with a smile, “There. My debt is now paid.” You said, letting a small giggle escape least your lips. Tony chuckled charmingly, “Yeah, I suppose it is,” He said smiling at you.
