geology Tumblr I need your help
so I was doing a chemistry test and one of the questions was about a mineral called 'salenite' (as far as I can remember). I was given a partial formula for the mineral:
M (IO3)2 Z
where M is a metal, IO3 is the iodate ion and Z is an anion
the point of the question was to figure out what M and Z were. I did not.
I was looking for 'salenite' on Google, but all I could find was Selenite.
I need someone to verify whether this mineral exists, and if it does, what is the formula?
also I might want to make a 'tumblr's favourite mineral' competition
