Mayblade 2026: Day 7 - Piercings

I drew Salima with gold piercings 🌟💜 in my previous blog I've drawn several solo arts of Kane, but never drew like that for her. I attempted narrow eyes and more detailed hair rendering for her. With some traditional Japanese dressing 👘 🇯🇵

Mariah/Mao

She's very cool girl chique in my mind. The i-woke-up-like-this type. Effortlessly stylish, in a practical way. I am thinking of low waist jeans and tons of cropped shirts. She doesn't have to try hard, or try, ever. There is always ONE pink item in her outfit though, every single day.

Emily

My cute little preppy nerd disaster. I see her in palettes of green a lot. She favours mini skirts and easy to handle jewellery- think beaded stuff that would be hard to damage and cheap to replace. Also in my mind she's partial to hats.

Hilary/Hiromi

I don't know why her entire personality became beyblading or the Bladebreakers to be specific but my girl is an academic genius and I think she'd like to look the part. I like to think her style would reflect her desire to be taken seriously. Frilly little socks and sensible button downs. Is she going to class or is she going to a party? You will never know.

Salima

Are those tattoos or patterned tights? Who is to say. She likes combat boots you haggle over in flea markets, button downs, weird hair clips and band t-shirts. She's the girl boys talk about when they say they want an alt girlfriend. If only they knew lol

Mariam

Mariam to me just screams vibrance. Her wardrobe is colorful and she over-accessories all the time. In my mind she also handmakes a lot of her clothing. When she's not haunting flea markets with Salima that is.

Julia

Do you guys remember that #weirdgirl trend? Yeah it originated from her. Julia is not scared of standing out, in fact she will find a way to stand out every single time. I can see her being a fan of weirdly coloured tights and using a lot of contrasting shades in her outfits. She doesn't care if you don't like it. She does.

Mathilda

Mathilda with star tattoos agenda? Mathilda with star tattoos agenda! She likes to keep it cute and minimal- a nice top with jeans that don't have holes in them. I can see her having a couple pieces of statement jewellery that she never takes off and that's about all the accessorising she can be bothered with.

Ming-Ming

Ming-Ming is the it girl and she knows it. Fuck being low maintenance. She likes glitter, gold and name brands and you like looking at her looking fabulous in them so everyone wins. I always see her in monochromatic looks however. I think they'd look cute with her hair.

I made the drawings of Kane and Salima's children, Satoru (older) and Kazumi (younger). I have to credit @nekodarkkitten for aiding me in choosing a name for the girl. Satoru is a mamma's boy and Kazumi is Dad's little princess. Pardon me if Kazumi looks older, but she is tall for a girl plus the face cut and jawline with the hairstyle, and has that little specs, soo. I might change their designs a little in the future, but here it's just for reference.

Since it's Salima's birthday today (November 29), I decided to do something different other than just drawing her. But I never planned these drawings to be posted on this day. But, this is combined for both Kane and Salima's birthdays (I missed Kane's due to busyness :/).

Ok, so long ago, I used a height difference generator for my Beyblade ships. And the heights are solely based on my headcanons.

Takao x Hiromi

Quite above average for Takao. He probably has a bit of height because of training and stuff, plus a bit of genetics. And Hiromi is also quite above average for a Japanese woman. Cute height difference for huggies and cuddles while standing.

Height difference = 22cm

Kai x Julia

As for Kai, I wanted to make him taller than Takao. The deuteragonists always exceed the protagonist's height. Julia has the perfect 'tall girl' height, since she is already tall enough in the series. She'll wear heels so that Kai can kiss on her lips smeared with Lipstick hehe.

Height difference = 18cm

Rei x Mao

The Chinese are shorties in general, but I'm not convinced to give Rei a short height. He is a good trainer and I headcanon his father having a great height. As for Mariah, I neither made her short nor tall, instead average. But their big height difference is so cute and hot! Rei can lift her up anytime.

Height difference = 29cm

Max x Emily

Americans are decently tall. But, I still wanted to give Maxie some extra height and Emily is average to above average (?). It's soothing for Max when Emily hugs him and lays her head on his neck.

Height difference = 19cm

Yuriy x Queen

It's self explanatory for both of them, I guess? Yuriy is Russian, and they have a great height. And I think Queen is quite tall as well. Huge height difference and it's quite hot. Queen will enjoy the height difference and the effort to kiss him.

Height difference = 25cm

Ozuma x Mariam

I know Ozuma is VERY short in the series, but I'm not convinced by that. I headcanon him having a huge height boost as he ages. As for Mariam, she is quite tall. They have a lesser height difference, but still decent. Easier to kiss.

Height difference = 12cm

Kane x Salima

My OTP, eeh! Kane is a Japanese Australian and Australians have a great height. I'd say the height thing runs in their family genes. And, I think the height for Salima is quite decent above average-ish. Cute height difference for her to cuddle on Kane's chest.

Height difference = 25cm

Michael x Mathilda

Michael is definitely tall in my opinion. He seemed quite tall in the series. Mathilda as a shortie is cute and sweet. But, she buys heels after heels to come a bit closer to his height. Her head directly goes on his chest during hugs which is cute. They'd prefer showing their love language when they are lying down together since it would be difficult for her.

Height difference = 37cm
