Taskmaster Rewatch: Series 5

Thoughts on past series: 1, 2, 3, 4

Oh we are cooking with gas on this season. We finally get consistent Little Alex Horne's! Its so interesting that there are so many personalized challenges which is a lot of fun. In contrast there are only three team tasks in the entire season but one of them is the song challenge which is one of the best performances of the entire show. I haven't really tracked the number of team tasks in all the seasons but three seems lower than normal.

There are some many iconic moments including: the before mentioned write a song task, Mark Watson doing the worst rainbow despite being the only one able to see, and Sally Phillips being so fucking horny all series. This series is one that I will always recommend to people who aren't sure about taskmaster but want to give it a try.

The cast for this series is so funny and I'm always so excited when I see them on other things because of their performance in this series. I also say that while Nish Kumar is one of the worst performing players I do feel like his failure is always funny to him rather than sad which is comforting. Here are my thoughts based on this post

Rating: 10/10 a god tier season.

1 month on Taskmaster!

today marks 1 month since i discovered Taskmaster! since then i’ve watched 9 different seasons (all out of order) and these are my notes, enjoy.

Sally Philips is actually insane (and stole my whole heart?)

Rose Matafeo and Kerry Godliman are amongst the most competent and capable contestants

watching Julian Clary catch an attitude with Alex and giving him shit for it is a delight

I volunteer to be Fatiha El-Ghorri’s third husband

Liza Tarbuck needs a grammy for her work with cake and profiteroles

series 21 made me fall equally in love with the whole cast, genuinely i cant pick a favorite out of that lineup everyone's *AMAZING*

Rhod Gilbert shouldn’t be allowed within 15 meters of another human being. like ever.

seeing Alex’s hair turn grey throughout the seasons makes my heart ache

Sanjeev Bhaskar, Jo Brand, and Julian Clary telling everyone to fuck off tickles me so much
