Took the free shuttle bus 🚌 to Sembawang Shopping Centre to have our dinner. We headed over to Yew Kee Specialities (友记家传鸭饭) located right beside the travelator. Placed order for the S$16 Teochew Braised Set 🦆 (潮州卤味套餐) for two which featured their specialty braised duck, pig’s intestine, fish cake, taupok (fried bean curd puff), braised peanuts 🥜 and salted vegetable (咸菜). The whole plate is drenched in rich and aromatic gravy. It also comes with two plates of braised rice and two bowls of herbal soup. Don’t forget to get their umami packed sambal chilli 🌶️ paste to go with the dish.

This Braised Duck Set (S$4) was from Yu Kee Duck Rice (友記家傳鴨飯) at the local food court. Comes with braised duck, bean curd, egg, peanuts and salted vegetable plus herbal soup.
