i don't think it has anything to do with homophobia. i think it is just as simple as jensen is shy and would rather have his talent speak for him. and i am sure it hurts him when we express disapproval over that scene because not only was it his creative decision, but also i think it hurts him as an actor, that he's not portraying dean well enough. that it's not obvious that dean doesn't do words. at all.
Yeah, I can understand that. And no, Dean doesn't do words. It's only this season that he's just starting to vocalize feelings at all.
It's kind of like when people were talking to Misha (at a different con) and how Cas' love for Dean was very clear but Dean's wasn't really, and he seemed annoyed. Then saying "Dean ran around all of purgatory for a year saying "Where's the angel?" To me it seemed that he was feeling like "We don't give you enough evidence to show you the love goes both ways?" Which is understandable given how many examples there are to support that.
People don't give Misha and Jensen (or Jared for that matter) enough credit for their acting because wow. The evidence is all there for us to see.

do you know of a website that has psych screen caps?
I remember someone putting screencaps per episode online, but I can't remember who it was and what the website/blog was, I'm sorry! And I'm on my phone now so I can't really go looking for it right now. Maybe someone else knows where you can find them?
saltedpineapple answered your post:
THAT IS THE MOST PERFECT GIF. GOING TO DIE. I dunno, it was very filler-y. Except for the end <3
I KNOW RIGHT. It was pretty filler-y, and I almost hoped that Cas would show up at the last second just to make it worth it. But hey, they killed Zeus. That should be big news, right? Riiiiiiiight. (We're so jaded, we don't even care about Zeus.)
