look man, Laura is my favourite player in terms of acting and she has made my favourite characters in each campaign. but for me like I just feel aware that, as she has admitted herself, she doesn't like getting things "wrong", wants to make the 'right' choice, etc etc, and these are wants that don't work in a ttrpg like they do a video game. the maximising of every stat and cancelling out of every possible weak spot. if you're gonna argue Imogen consciously makes "girlfailure" choices outside of dice rolls by showing her character being human and for example throwing up from seeing gore or being ditzy at times to juxtapose and subvert her destiny to be a powerful sorcerer/god eater and born into the main story line lineage, then surely her "experience" as a girlfailure should not be to avoid ever having to deal with the outcomes of the dice roll failures that were not in favour of her stats? (and her new ability to be able to rewind time to change her actions also proves this tendency of hers, I believe, tho yeah it is cooler and makes a bit more sense with her character and powers)
all of this outside of the grievances I have said and shared many times by now about the language and culture of "girlfailure". I think she has just learned a term from the fandom and has applied it for their kudos, it was a bummer to hear it as an experience, I don't think it makes any sense. mechanically it is dull. Itd be cool to believe it's some actually fuck all of u reclamation uno reverse haha check out this girlfailure thing, but i don't think it is.
