Trying to Find Stand in Statures for Deities is a Pain in the Ass
Sometimes trying to find a statue to represent a Deity is frustrating as Hell, especially when You know You aren't going to find a statue specifically made for said Deity. I'm currently looking for and am failing to find a decent enough statue to represent Damona, and it's driving Me up a wall!
I mean, I'm aware that there is evidence of a broken statue that was found for Damona that appears fairly similar to that of Sirona, but honestly I'm uncomfortable with going with the easiest option. I'm aware that Sirona is commonly syncrenized with Salus and/or Hygieia, based on Roman Interpretation. I know where I can buy a statue of of Hygieia, but once again, I'm uncomfortable about doing so, even if the fledgling side of My Galic Polytheist practice ends up delving into Gallo-Roman Polytheism for whatever reason.
Being too uncomfortable with the easiest option, I started looking for Fairy Girl statues that featured Cows, but I haven't found any so far. I have no idea if Damona has any connection with Fairies at all, I looked in that direction first because I have had a ton of luck so far when looking at Fairy statues to help fill in the gaps when I'm trying and failing to find a statue for a "Celtic" deity. Any attempt at finding a statue of a Woman that features a Cow keeps leading Me into interesting territory. For the most part, statues of Hindu Goddesses keep showing up, which is not what I'm looking for at all.
