This one actually might still be watchable after 40 years. It’s more than 15 years old...and I think it still holds up.
I did actually ponder on other films that have made my viewing list that would end up in the same ‘stack’ as this one:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Before Sunset
The Princess Diaries 2
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason
(I was surprised too that there weren’t more after looking through 450 films that year)
PS: It hits me that this is actually a Fantasy film (or a comedy with Fantasy elements?)....so....it is proof that I quite like films grounded in reality (Or at least most of it is?)

INT. MATT'S APARTMENT (ENTRYWAY) - DAY
MATT unchains the door and opens it.
MATT
Hey.
JENNA hugs him.
JENNA
Oh, Matty!
He's not sure how to react as she clings for dear life.
MATT
Come on in.
JENNA finally lets him go and gets all emotional for a second...but recovers. She looks around his apartment as he closes the door.
JENNA
You still take pictures?
MATT
Uh, yeah. You know, it, uh, pays the bills.
She continues in the sitting room absorbing her surroundings.
MATT
Uh...hey, Jenna, what are...
INT. MATT'S APARTMENT (SITTING ROOM) - CONTINUOUS
MATT follows JENNA.
MATT
Why are you here?
JENNA
Matty, I told you. Something really weird is happening. Yesterday was my 13th birthday, and then...
She starts to pace.
JENNA
And then today I woke up and I'm like this...And you, I mean you're that!
He furrows his brows and looks at her suspiciously.
MATT
Are you high?
JENNA just stares at him.
MATT
You've been smoking pot? Doing X?
She looks at him trying to understand---
MATT
Falling into a K-hole? You doing drugs?
JENNA
No! No. Look...
She walks over to him.
JENNA
I was sitting in my closet, and I...I...
MATT looks at her...bracing...
JENNA
I skipped everything. Matt, it's like a weird dream. I-I can't remember my life. You need to help me remember my life.
MATT
Me.
JENNA
Yes.
MATT
I can't do that.
JENNA
Why not?
He scoffs.
MATT
I don't know anything about you, all right? I haven't seen you since high school.
JENNA reels from this.
JENNA
What?
MATT
We're not friends anymore, Jenna.
JENNA
Matty, you're my best friend.
MATT
No.
JENNA backs up.
MATT
Okay. It's cool.
She looks around.
MATT
It's cool.
JENNA
Is it warm in here?
MATT
It...It's...It's...
JENNA starts to hyperventilate.
MATT
Maybe I should open a window.
JENNA
(Out of breath)
I think I need some fresh air and a glass of water...and a fluffy pillow, please?
MATT
You want a glass of water? Have a seat.
She complies.
MATT
I'll get you some. You want a, uh, glass of water? You want ice in that?
JENNA
I want a fluffy pillow!!! Please!
He holds up his hands and slowly backs up.
MATT
A fluffy pillow, coming right up.
He backs up right to the wall.
MATT
Sorry.
He gives her one last look at goes off to complete his tasks.
