One of the frustrating things about talking about fighter pay is some guy who’ll hop in the conversation and be like “well, ufc undercard fighters get paid more than boxjng undercard fighters” and like, yeah but there’s also a shit ton of more boxing cards than there are ufc cards. PBC, DAZN, Top Rank, Golden Boy, etc run damn near 200 cards a year combines in the US alone. Talking internationally, dudes is getting paid huge money.
Do any of you people know who Sam Eggington is? He’s a regional level boxer from the UK who’s nowhere near an international level fighter and he made upwards $200,000 for one of his most recent fights. That’s more than some UFC champions have been paid for headlining PPVs.
