I was super excited to get this book back in high school, the cover looked so cool! The story had so much action it was almost like reading a graphic novel. I really thought the super hero stuff was awesome.I wasn’t impressed with the main character Jack. He felt like a 3rd wheel, leaving me feeling kind of like a 3rd wheel when reading the story. But I give the author credit for writing the story from that perspective, because I think that is what makes the story the most unique.
It’s pretty dark story, somehow I didn’t seem to get that as a kid....I don’t know how I could have missed it. The synopsis on the back says Charlie gets possessed by a demon. I guess I was just too naive.
