Just finished watching samurai flamenco for the first time!

It was good and ridiculous and pure and we jumped from a small-time crime-fighting vigilante to crazy power ranger villains-of-the-week that always explode when they're defeated to a super sentai squad saving the earth from aliens/alternate realities back to more peaceful times but with a middle school arch-nemesis and i'm just like...this show. Go watch it if you haven't.

Samurai Flamenco episode 21 review

So with one episode to go, I’m going to put this here so I can refer to it after I’ve finished.

I think that’s the gist of the episode tbh.

So??? What is Samurai Pink’s deal with Red Axe? Will we ever have an explanation? I’m just... curious. He’s like 50.

I can’t believe Masayoshi has to find love, that’s so dumb and gross (and I’m so here for it yikes). Like, at first this makes me think he’s going to hug the kid or something when he sees him. OR him and Goto?? Maybe??? I can only dream that in all this fuckery they will become canon.

So speaking of the kid...

He’s... real now? I think?? I don’t know anymore. He’s real enough, and very crazy. I don’t understand, does he want to kill Flamenco or just constantly bug him?  How the fuck did he fake his death? What happened to his parents? Will this be answered??

And the kid has gone TOO FAR (though his first text as The Girlfriend made me laugh a little, I am ashamed to admit.) "How are you doing?  I'm fine.  Just kidding.  I'm dead." JESUS. I was kinda hoping Goto was beginning to recover from it, but fuck, I guess he won’t be doing that right now.

NO I AM SO FUCKING TERRIFIED AFTER THIS ENDING. Was he shot? Please tell me he’s okay. Please. If he hurts Goto, Masayoshi is going to Fuck Him Up.

I am also worried that there is one episode left to go before it’s finished... will they be able to tie everything up by then? It’s a lot to try and smush together...

Great googly moogly, everything’s gone to shit. I don’t really know what’s going on anymore, but damn, I’mma find out.

Review of Samurai Flamenco episode 20

So with two episodes to go, I’m going to put this here so I can refer to it after I’ve finished.

WHAT THE FUCK. WH AT.

So... the kid’s not real? What happened to the original one? What was the illness?

I knew the fight between Goto and Masayoshi was coming, but I still wasn’t ready tbh. As soon as he called Goto out I was wincing. Oh god. It honestly breaks my heart- please let them make up soon (and get together or something, they’d work very well. So long as they are both happy, please.)

Right so back to the kid...

I guess there are a couple of options that spring to mind?

1. Masayoshi’s snapped from not having any evil to defeat, and has somehow created this nemesis in his boredom, but has also made it so only he can see him.

2. The Universe was lying, and has sent him a nemesis for Incomprehensible Space Reasons™ .

3. The kid is real, and somehow only Masayoshi can see him, so that people won’t believe him again (all according to the kid’s keikaku).

4. Masayoshi has pulled a Goto. (The kid is in no way real, it’s all in his head, he’s been doing things himself, or they haven’t actually happened).

5.Beyond Flamenco has something to do with it? Or, y’know. Any of his previous enemies.

So I suppose that’s it. I’m personally thinking 1 or 3 right now, but who knows??
