It made sense they'd end up at the same club, there weren't many options in the general area of where the tournament was being held. When Jackie spotted Sam she had to grin. One of those players that was so fucking good it was both infuriating and brought out the best in Jackie. She casually slid into the spot beside the other, drink already in hand and bumped their shoulders together. Sure most of their interaction was on the field but they had that friendly rivalry going. "Somebody had a good night. Damn that goal." Jackie blew out a long breath of appreciation. "Lucky for me too because I definitely wanted to play you next round." Jackie's eyes twinkled with mischief. "Seriously though, that game winner was a banger. Bet they put you on Sportscenter top 10 tomorrow or something." It maybe sounded a little teasing but Jackie was sincere. The goal was well worthy of an all sport highlight reel. "you should let me buy you a drink."
