What do you think James and Sam's firsts would be like? (Like kiss, ect.)
(Okay, sorry this took forever, but I went to consult Andy ( @siriusly-not-over-remus )on it because our sons are important to us. We only did the first bit because we’re still crying over this much so here I wrote out our little bullet point ideas into something cute)When James first asked Sam out– to Hogsmede, to dinner, to sit with him by the lake, to prank his little sister her first week at school– Sam straight up turned him down. The other Gryffindor boy was loud and rash and full of life and his smile was perfect and– He said no. About 12 times in the first month of James’ sudden adoration and pursuit.
The first time he said ‘yes’ to him? Sam wasn’t sure he’d seen James ever grin so big, and he wasn’t sure that he’d ever want to see that look on his face disappear.
Their fingers twined for the first time and James never apparently knew what magic felt like before then, when Sam’s smooth palm slid against his own quidditch-calloused one. He found himself staring at their hands for longer than he even realized as they sat by the lake. Sunset fell upon them quickly, and the lack of light was the only thing that drew his attention away. Sam had hardly noticed as he flipped through class notes. James was smitten.
Their first kiss was spontaneous. James had helped Gryffindor kick Ravenclaws butts and as far as Sam could tell, his new boyfriend was living. The sun was in his hair, all windswept and an absolute mess, and that perfect smile was lighting up his face as he touched down on the ground and wrapped Sam up in his arms. The hollering around them was definitely muted by the blood pounding in Sam’s ears as he was kissed, firm and unyielding, before James was captured and pulled away by the rest of his fans. James Sirius Potter II had kissed him, tasting of fresh air and apparently the Bertie Botts beans they’d sampled earlier in the day. His face was on fire as Albus waggled his eyebrows at him from somewhere near his brother.
