Paul Frankl, Rare Coffee Table with Planter,
Paul Frankl’s organically shaped coffee table with inset planter was selected by Sam Marx for his own Chicago home located at 1325 Astor Street.
The table was centrally positioned in his living room amidst stunning works of art by Picasso, Amedeo Modigliani and Isamu Noguchi. The table, and artworks can be seen in a photograph of Sam and Florene Marx published in Life magazine in 1952.
