Honestly if you miss me you gotta tell me bc otherwise imma just assume you donāt think about me at all
This is interesting - if the ads were sexist before what makes them less sexist after the āchangeā? If they are still sexist, why are they acceptable after the āchangeā? Are they acceptable?
I would argue, no.
But the troubling thought is that this post was tagged feminism. So the conclusion I jump to is that this brand of feminism is geared not so much towards gender equality, or the eradication of sexism, but more towards woman placed in a position of power over men; switching roles, as it were.
Seems counter productive to the whole movement. Vilifying one group generally does not ingratiate that group to a cause or idea. This isnāt social justice, this is social vendetta.
Itās satire you moron.
Itās showing men that donāt understand how their insulting gender role views are insulting to women.
One people canāt understand why something is degrading unless itās done to them
^^^^this.
This issue here isnāt whether or not either of these posters are sexist now or before. The point is that men are so privileged that instead of having empathy and realizing these ads arenāt funny they immediately start screaming reverse sexism or some bullshit like that. Alot of men would find these old ads funny or even state some moronic claim that this was just how it was back then and itās better now. No, like racism itās just far more covert. Take the MeToo movement. Everyoneās on board until some dudebroās fave show is canceled because the star of the show decided that his dicks needs trumped the rights of a women to her own body.
new yearās eve 2017.. the loneliest day of my life.
iām home alone because everyone already had plans and nobody invited me. my brother is with his friends, my parents are with theirs, and iām in bed at home. holy crap iāve never felt so sad in my entire life.Ā

you can tell a lot about a person by looking at their hands. for example, if itās a skeleton hand then theyāre dead
To name or not name him
I want to post a #MeToo post on a few social media channels. Iāve already written what I want to say and I actually call my harasser (remember, the perverted guitar teacher) by name. On one hand I think: āyes, do it. Let people know what heās like.ā on the other hand I think āNo donāt, thatās not a nice thing to do. It happened in May of 2015, too long ago.ā I also donāt want people the think Iām looking for attention or anything.
But then again, by not naming my harasser Iām actually protecting him even though Iām the victim. Iām choosing him over myself. Aahhh Iām confused and donāt know what to doooo. Bleh.
Maybe Iām overthinking this.
Any advice?

Say Anything (1989)
About Say Anything..
It's a cute movie but Diane telling her dad that she slept with her boyfriend for the first time. Give me a freaking break, who does that? And then saying 'she attacked him', really...??
Ugh, getting a rejection from a possible job is so discouraging -.-
thefyuzheĀ replied to your post āBald white men are definitely a trigger for me. Every time I see one...ā
So sorry this is still happening. Have you filed a police complaint/restraining order?
Thanks (: But no, I meant that itās still trigger even though all that crap happened 2,5 years ago. He stopped talking to me when I told him that he was sexually harassing me. Thank god!
