Sam Patterson submits Kiefer Crosbie via arm triangle in the 1st!
The gigantic welterweight gets it done early. Crosbie started a nice pocket exchange early but was running into problems dealing with the length of Patterson. The 6'3 Patterson managed to tag Crosbie with a nice uppercut as he rushed into the pocket behind his high guard. Really took Crosbie out the fight. From there, Patterson got Crosbie tied up along the cage with the over/under and hit an outside trip takedown. Got himself to mount and locked up the arm triangle for the quick tap.
Now, because Dana White hates the flyweight division, we have a title eliminator bout between Manel Kape and Muhammad Mokaev. Arguably the third most important fight on the card. Reduced to an early prelim. Grand stuff.
