Fandom once again showing their asses in multiple ways re: fandom spaces.
One: headcanons are just that - headcanon. It can go against the devs/writers established canon, and it's even encouraged! It can be fun! But it's not the reality and trying to impose it on someone else like it is is considered rude and people aren't going to like interacting with you.
Two: Someone's favorite character can be different from yours - that's okay! People are allowed to like whomever they like, it's not about you, it's about personal preference. You can't force someone to change their mind, that's not what this is about. We're here to celebrate the characters we ALL like. Your response to someone defending their choices should NOT be to fucking DOXX someone and send them death threats???
I am so serious, the rules of fandom are SO simple.
Be kind and considerate to others in fandom spaces. Block them if you don't want to see their content, you don't have to look at it, but don't harass them about it. You curate your experience.
Have fun. If you're no longer having fun, it's time to log off and take a break.
It's not fair or polite to force actors/writers/devs to interact with fandom content without their consent. Don't shove your fic in their face, don't make them sign your explicit artwork.
That's it, literally, the basics for existing in fandom spaces.
AND YET.
