Also, Person of Interest gave us an actual Aromantic character? I mean obviously having a diagnosed sociopath also be aromantic isn’t Peak Representation, but still. How many times did Shaw make it clear she didn’t fall in love? That she “wasn’t in it for the long haul”? How many other characters in other shows have said the same thing, and then had plot lines that resulted in them pulling a complete 180 and falling deeply, madly, grossly in love?
But that never happened with Shaw. Even when she did end up in a relationship, she wasn’t magically “cured.” And Root accepted that. She never once tried to change Shaw. She loved her fully, unreservedly, complete with red roses and romantic trips to Miami (ok, they were beating up arms dealers, but that’s romantic for them) and cutesy pet names, and it never once bothered her that Shaw didn’t do those things. As far as Root was concerned, she loved Shaw enough for the both of them, and that was enough.
And Shaw did care about Root. She let herself be captured so that Root could escape Decima’s forces. She killed herself over six thousand times, instead of giving up Root’s location to Samaritan. When her mind was warped and broken beyond what most people could endure, Root was the anchor that let Shaw find herself again. It’s not chocolates and roses and pet names, but Shaw proved that in her own way, on her own terms, to the extent that she was capable, she loved Root.
Crowley’s trying to stay angry and failing. The Moose twins are too much! Sweet Red Sammy and Logical Blue Sam are from our fanfic Sam Squared. Each has half of Sam’s soul.
Sam Squared - The Final Chapter
When a spell goes wrong, Sam is split into two people, each with half of his soul — and half the morality that comes with it. The halves do not get along. Dean and Castiel try to reassemble Sam before the two conflicting sides of him can cause any damage.

Inktober’s Over, But...
I miss Chibi Crowley. Must draw more of him and other chibi art soon. Spent most of today writing for NaNoWriMo and trying not to panic over how I can’t cover various bills. Got quite a bit of Sam Squared next few chapters done, though. Posting updates for that and Hand in Hand tomorrow!
