DW Commentary | 9.06 THE WOMAN WHO LIVED — Producer Derek Ritchie and Maisie Williams (Ashildr) discuss guest star Rufus Hound (Sam Swift).

TAKE TWO: Sam + Eddie + moments
They’re both into each other and in massive denial.

ABC’s Take Two starring Rachel Bilson & Eddie Cibrian deserved a second season & should not have been canceled after season 1. They had such a fun dynamic & I loved the relationship between Sam Swift & Eddie Valetik.

Some stuff about Samara:
She has a cane that’s also a sword like her dad does, which he gave to her when she decided to became a villain
Much like Carries mother, Samara’s mother (Darla’s sister) was extremely religious, but thankfully wasn’t as bad as Darla was. Her moms name was Eve, who also deceived Richard like how Darla did Jon. Eve had died of a heart attack, but Samara didn’t care much cause Eve was hardly ever a mother to her anyways
Sam is like Carries rich and fancy cousin that when she visits, she’ll brag about her upscale life and judge the dust on their bookshelves (then Carrie will attack her and Jon has to break them up cause he really doesn’t feel like paying a hospital bill today)
Samara also like to makes fun of Carrie and the fact that she doesn’t have any powers or a Ring like Chris does, but Carrie just scoffs and tells her that at least she has a skintone that doesn’t blind people (Sam’s pale as snow, like, I’m talking paler than Nina-)
Sam tends to drink black tea for the aesthetic of it, but her secret favorite is hibiscus tea which still works with her aesthetic since it’s a dark blood red
She listens to heavy metal, stuff like Korn or Slipknot or MIW, Richard just massages his temples as he hears the heavy metal screaming playing from his daughters room and just mumbles “It’s just a phase, it’s just a phase, it’ll all be over soon-)
Samara is very polite, but it’s extremely passive aggressive and gives back handed compliments. Like she’ll say “You know, despite being completely incompetent and academically challenged, your plan is well thought out, darling!”
She also calls everyone darling like how Emma and Juliette Frost do, and in the same condescending tone
“It always does.”
