"There's nowhere in existence you couldn't go that I wouldn't find you" with Simi please? Thank you! 🧡
Hope you enjoy!
One evening. Somewhere in Monaco.
Seb leans against the balcony railing, a half-empty glass of wine dangling from his fingers. The lights from the harbor below flicker like memories—soft, distant, and too bright all at once.
Kimi doesn’t say a word when he steps up beside him. Just stands there, quiet, like he always does. But Seb feels him anyway. He always does.
“You know,” Seb says, voice low, “I used to think I’d be okay when you left. When I left.”
Kimi’s brow arches slightly. “And?”
Seb huffs a dry laugh. “I lied to myself better than I thought.”
There’s a pause. Wind brushes past them, warm and salt-slick. Seb doesn't look at him when he speaks again.
“I’ve tried moving on. Letting go. Letting you go. But it’s like... you’re wired into me. Like no matter where I go, what I do, there’s this thread.” He swallows. “And every time I tug on it, you’re there.”
Kimi turns, finally. His voice is quiet, a little rough. “There’s nowhere in existence you could go that I wouldn’t find you.”
Seb turns too—eyes bright, breath caught.
Kimi doesn’t flinch. “I wouldn’t chase. But I’d know. I’d follow. Doesn’t matter if it’s another team, another country, another life.”
He steps closer, and now his hand’s on Seb’s—solid, grounding.
“You don’t need to tug the thread, Seb. I’m already here.”
Seb lets out a soft breath that’s almost a laugh. Or maybe a sob.
And finally, he lets himself lean in.
