CHAPTER TWO IS HERE!
Okay I know this isn't a prompt but this is just some little AU drabble I just got random inspired for while listening to some music. Enjoy!.
Blaine and Rachel are twins and the newest transfers to McKinley. Sam has his eye on the gorgeous new brunette, unaware she is about to surprise him.
“Dude! Who-is-that?”
Sam gaped from where he stood beside his friend Kurt at their lockers. Striding down the hallway was a pair of petite brunettes.
One was male with short, extremely gelled slicked back hair and was wearing a polo shirt and a bow tie of all things. The other…well the other was the object of Sam’s current attention. She was hot, to put in simple terms. She had long straight hair with her bangs swept to one side and wore a plain black stretchy long sleeved top with a (extremely) short mini skirt. She even made the knee length socks she was wearing look sexy.
“Oh those are the new transfers from Dalton” his friend answered and Sam shot him a funny look.
“But I thought the school was for boys? That chick is definitely not a dude”.
“You don’t say” Kurt replied dryly, rolling his eyes at the blonde before allowing his eyes to gaze back to the pair, specifically the bow-tie wearing male. “They’re the Anderson-Berry twins. I met them when I went to spy on Dalton a while ago when the mash ups were happening and they caught me. Well Blaine caught me but he introduced me to his sister at glee practice where they are both the very talented leads. Frankly I don’t know how we could have stood a chance against those two if they hadn’t decided to transfer”.
Sam’s brows furrowed deeper as he took his eyes off the rapidly approaching twins to shoot a look at Kurt. “But why was she at a boy’s school and why have they transferred here now?”
“Their parents are extremely wealthy apparently and they bribed the school into accepting them both because they absolutely refused to be separated. As for why they’re here well I do have something to confess to you guys…Blaine’s kind of my boyfriend now”.
“Wait… say what?”
“Kurt!” The short male that was apparently named Blaine cut into their conversation to throw his arms around Kurt, confirming the thinner boy’s statement. “I am so happy that we’re together now. I was missing you like crazy and I don’t think I could have brought myself to compete against you at Regionals”.
“And as you know wherever Blaine goes, I go but that’s okay. I wasn’t thrilled about being the only girl at a boy’s school as much as I adore my brother and understood it was safer for him there than at our first school” the girl who Sam still didn’t know the name of added with a genuine smile as she gazed at the loved up couple.
“Well I think those two only have eyes for each other” Sam smiled, catching her attention. “My name is Sam by the way. I’m Kurt’s friend from glee club”.
“Hi, I’m Rachel and that lug there is Blaine” the hot girl – Rachel – told him and surprised him by stepping onto her tip toes and planting a soft kiss against his lips.
“Whoa, not that I minded but what was that for?”
“I’ve been at a school for the last year and a half where most of the guys are either gay, stuck up or unattractive. You are like the first gorgeous guy that I’ve seen in years. I had to take the chance” she grinned.
“I’m sorry, did my sister just throw myself at you?” By this time Blaine and Kurt had separated and were staring at Rachel in bemusement.
“That’s okay, I was about to do the same thing anyway. No offense dude but your sister is hot”.
“Aw, thank you” Rachel giggled with a blush. “So are you a good singer, Sam?”
“I think so” he told her modestly. “I can show you if you want?”
“Right now?”
“Well the glee kids here at McKinley have a thing about singing whatever whenever the mood strikes”.
Suddenly it was if the music came from nowhere as Sam began to sing ‘baby’ by Justin Bieber. Normally Rachel was absolutely not a fan of the young star but Sam’s voice was beautiful and she found she was enjoying listening to him sing the tune.
“Wow” she beamed when he finished as they ignored the students glaring at them as they passed. “You are really talented. You know I find talent really attractive in a person and now you’ve even hotter. We should definitely sing a duet sometime”.
“Me too. Maybe we should pick something to sing over dinner sometime and then we can sing it in glee?”
“Would this be like a date?” Rachel smirked.
Sam nodded. “Totally”.
“In that case I would love to”.
“If you care at all you have my blessing” Blaine cut in, moving to wrap a possessive arm around his twin. “Just don’t break her heart or else”.
“He boxes you know?” Kurt chimed in, earning himself a glare from Sam.
“I won’t hurt her. I know what that feels like and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone”.
“Good”.
“Ooh, maybe we should make it a double date?”
Everyone immediately shot down Kurt’s suggestion.
Samchel feeling their baby kick for the first time (oh and btw i get the feeling that each story you write just gets better and better, your writing skills are unintentionally growing with these prompts haha)
Thank you sweetie!
Kicks - by Jessica
Rachel had been lying on the sofa with a big tub of vegan ice-cream and a plate of sliced up peppers to dip into the ice-cream when she felt it. She froze, wondering if she was imagining things when she felt it again, the sharp kick in her stomach. Her eyes widened comically before she dropped her spoon and began screaming out for her husband. “Sam! Sam, come here right now!”
There was a loud crash coming from their bedroom indicating that she had startled him and a moment later, Sam came skidding around the corner into their living room. His eyes zoned in on her as he rushed to her side, looking alarmed. “Baby, what’s wrong? Is it the baby? You’re not in labour are you because you’re only five months and it’s WAY too soon for that so-“.
“Sam, I’m not having the baby right now” She rolled her eyes at him. “I’m sorry if I scared you but…”
“Rachel, you can’t just scream like that!” Sam interrupted her, exasperated. “Of course I’m going to think something is wrong if you scream like there’s a murderer in the room”.
“Babe, shut up and listen to me”.
Sam went silent although he looked a little annoyed at the way she seemed to be ignoring his ire at her. “It’s the baby, she’s kicking!” Rachel giggled and grabbed Sam’s hand placing it on the side of her stomach where their baby was currently active. Sam’s green eyes widened in amazement as he felt his daughter kick his hand, hard. “That’s our girl, Sam. She’s definitely a future performer the way she moves like that”.
“Or a future footballer, girls can play football too you know” Sam grinned.
“Whatever she wants to be, I know that she will be amazing” she replied with a watery smile as her eyes filled up with tears because of both her hormones and the major moment that they were currently experiencing.
“Just like her mom” Sam told her, leaning in to plant a soft kiss on her lips.
I have two things- Could you write about Rachel finding out she's pregnant and another about them doing cute "couple" stuff together? Btw your fan fics are great!!
The first prompt I have already filled HERE and it's more or less the same concept.
Here's one that kind of works as a sequal to this one and is an answer to your prompt about coupley stuff :).
And thanks!
Baby Shopping by Jessica
After finding out that Rachel was pregnant, Sam had become the world’s most enthusiastic dad-to-be or at least that’s what Rachel thought.
Sometimes he could become a little overbearing when he got intensely protective over her like when she was in her fourth month of pregnancy and had begun to really show and suddenly seemed much more fragile to him. She would merely try to stand on her tiptoes to grab something out of the top shelf in one of their cupboards in their kitchen and he would quickly appear from seemingly nowhere grabbing it for her. Although it could be irritating at times, Rachel found it mostly endearing and she loved that he wanted to be so involved with everything. It definitely made her feel cherished.
She was six months along when they discovered that they were going to have a girl and things suddenly got even crazier since Sam had been certain they were going to have a boy and had it all planned out in his head. Now he had to redo all of those plans to fit in a little girl.
“Do you think she’ll like Disney? Or what if she’s more into Pokémon?” Sam peppered his wife with questions as they shopped for baby clothes together in a department store in Manhattan. Rachel had planned to go alone but when Sam had discovered what she was going for, he had insisted on coming along.“I have no idea, babe. I think we won’t really know until she can actually begin to talk”.
“I know but I just can’t wait to get to know her” he told her excitedly as they walked towards the baby clothes section. “Do you think she’ll be a daddy’s girl?”
“Oh I think she will” Rachel smiled at Sam, both amused and exasperated with his excitement. “I know that I love her daddy very much so she will be bound to love him too since she has my DNA running through her veins”.
“That’s true” he nodded in agreement, taking her words seriously. Rachel continued to smile to herself as she approached a rack of onesies in various shades of pink and purple with a few yellow ones mixed in.
“Aw, Sam, look!” Rachel pointed him to a pink onesie that said the words: Daddy’s Little Princess in sparkly hot pink glitter and had a picture of a tiara underneath. “That’s adorable. We have to get that!”
They added the onesie into the shopping basket (that Sam insisted on carrying obviously) and carried on, picking up a few dungarees, cardigans and dresses along the way. They had just finished picking up some plain onesies and other various items of clothing such as socks and little shoes that Rachel had positively melted at, when a boisterous group of teenage girls began to walk past.
Rachel felt Sam stiffen beside her and she turned to see what he was frowning at. The girls were all dressed in dark, gothic make up and wearing ripped clothes and corsets, looking a lot like Tina Cohen-Chang did Rachel’s sophomore year.
“What’s wrong, honey?” Rachel turned to ask him with concern.
“How do their parents let them go out looking like that?!”
“I don’t know but it’s not really any of our business” Rachel shrugged. “Maybe they want them to feel free to express themselves”.
“Yeah but Rachel, they look so scary! And their clothes…what if our little girl grows up and wants to dress like that? If she does I don’t think my heart could take it. Maybe we should just stop her from leaving the house ever?”
“Babe, don’t be ridiculous. If our daughter wants to dress like that, then maybe we should just let her. If you tell her not to, she’ll only resent you and do it anyway out of spite”.
“But she’ll be too pretty like you to cover up with all that scary vampire make up” Sam pouted.
“Well it’ll probably just be a phase in her life anyway if she does decide to look like that. I know I went through weird phrases such as all of those animal jumpers and knee length socks” Rachel laughed. “And Tina was just like those girls remember and look at her now? She’s successful, she’s married and she dresses a lot different”.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right” Sam agreed sheepishly. “I think I’m just beginning to freak out a little bit”.
“That’s alright, babe. I’ve been expecting it to come for a while now. I’m glad it happened before the baby got here, I have to admit”.
Sam smiled and wrapped an arm around his wife’s shoulders. Just as they were beginning to make their way to the till, a girl around the age of fourteen walked by with a taller and older looking boyfriend holding her hand. This boy had dodgy looking facial hair and a tattoo on his arm. Sam’s eyes looked like they were about to explode from their sockets, so Rachel hastily grabbed his hand and pulled him along. It looked like she was going to have to talk him down from the ledge again.
If you’re lost you can look and you will find me time after time if you fall I will catch you, I will be waiting time after time…
If you don't mind I have two fics request. How about Samchel wedding and Rachel telling Sam that she's pregnant.
Here you go, Nonnie!
The Wedding by Jessica
“Oh my sweet little angel looks so beautiful” Hiram Berry cried for the fiftieth time that morning upon walking into the girl’s dressing room and seeing Rachel in her wedding dress for the first time. Nearby Leroy rolled his eyes at his former husband before turning in his attention on his daughter and agreeing that their girl did look amazing, just like an angel. She wore a long strapless gown with a corset bodice and a skirt that flared out. Hiram imagined that this is what a Jewish Cinderella would like when she married Prince Charming. “Sam is going to faint when he sees you, my little princess”.
Rachel giggled at her dad’s reaction, trying to ignore the smirks and laughs that were coming from her maid of honour, Kurt, and her bridesmaids Tina, Sam’s sister Stacey, Santana, Brittney, Mercedes and Quinn. “Daddy stop, you’re embarrassing me” She insisted as Leroy proceeded to pass Hiram yet another tissue to dab his eyes with. “I can’t believe that I’m getting married today! I’m so nervous, how’s Sam? Has anyone checked on him? The wedding starts in less than twenty minutes and I hope he’s not run out after realising he couldn’t possibly love someone as high maintenance as I am!”
“Uh oh, here we go again” Kurt sighed. Just as often as Hiram had been bursting into tears at random, Rachel had begun to have nervous fits that Sam wasn’t going to show up. It was definitely clear to see where she had gotten her dramatic flair from that was for certain. “Rachel, honey, Sam is not going to jilt you at the altar. He knows how crazy you are and loves you for it regardless or maybe even because of it. He’s a laid back guy, you two complement each other perfectly. You need to stop worrying for absolutely no reason” Her best friend told her firmly, placing an arm on her bare shoulder.
She looked at him with wide, doe eyes. “You think so?”
“Gurl, that boy is nuts about you” Mercedes spoke up. “He always looks at you with serious heart eyes”.
“I have to agree. Trouty seems to have a thing for crazy bossy drama queens that have absolutely no fashion sense” Santana remarked causing her wife to elbow her sharply.
“Yeah you’re right. Sam loves me, he wouldn’t ask me to marry him and then jilt me” Rachel agreed, forcing herself to take a deep breath. “This is happening, this is really happening. I’m going to be Rachel Evans!”.
“So you’re taking his name then?” Tina asked, sounding surprised. “I always imagined that you would be all modern feminist and keep your own name”.
“I’ll be keeping my name professionally but personally I will go by Rachel Evans” she replied with a smile. “I like the thought of everyone knowing who I’m married to”.
“That’s why Blaine and I hyphenated” Kurt piped up. “It’s a nice way to show the world we belong together”.
“Maybe Sam should just change his name to Berry” Santana suggested although everyone knew she wasn’t being serious. “Sam Berry has a nice ring to it and besides we all know it’s Berry who wears the pants in the relationship. That boy is whipped”.
A knock on the door interrupted the conversation and the wedding planner poked her head in. “Excuse me guys but the limo is here and it’s time to go”.
“Okay then, its show time” Leroy announced and took Rachel’s arm in his own, leading her outside to the limo. He and Hiram would be going in one Limo with Rachel whilst her party would be going in another one.
Time seemed to drag on as Rachel sat in the car waiting to be taken to the hotel that had been booked for their wedding and then the reception afterwards. “My baby is going to be leaving me forever in less than fifteen minutes” Hiram ranted again with tears in his eyes again as they got closer to the hotel. Leroy smirked at Rachel who giggled at the look on her much more calmer dad’s face. Ten minutes (and about fifty tissues for Hiram) later, they had arrived and were immediately greeted by her bridesmaids.
“It’s time! Blaine rang. Sam and the others are there and waiting. The guests are all seated” Kurt informed the bride as he escorted her and her fathers into the foyer. They made their way down to the room that the wedding was to take place in and the wedding planner began to arrange them all into order. The bridesmaids would be going in first led by Mercedes and then Kurt would be the last to go before Rachel and her parents.
“The music has started. Mercedes you are ago” The wedding planner announced and the doors opened for them to enter. Rachel watched with an anxious stomach as Mercedes disappeared followed by Tina, Santana, Brittney, Quinn, Stacey and then lastly Kurt. “Rachel, get in position”.
“Oh my baby girl” Hiram whispered giving Rachel a kiss on the cheek. “No one is good enough for you but Sam is alright I suppose”.
“I am very happy for you, sweetheart” Leroy added, a lot more relaxed than Rachel’s other father. “Here we go”. She linked both her arms with her fathers and forced herself to breath as the music changed.
She gazed down to the floor as she first entered the room before glancing up and meeting Sam’s gaze. Suddenly it was if all of her worrying and nerves jumped away the moment that she saw his eyes, his entire face light up at seeing her. He’d cut his hair for their wedding and was wearing a fitted black tuxedo. Her breath left her body the moment that she saw him and could only imagine that he was feeling the same way.
After what seemed like an eternity, the music began to fade as Rachel reached Sam’s side. They immediately held each other’s hands as soon as she had broken away from her dads, oblivious to the sounds of Hiram’s sniffles as he let her go. “You look so beautiful” He mouthed to her as the officiator began the service.
When it came to the vows, they had both written their own with Sam going first.“Rachel, when I first met you in high school I never imagined in a million years that we would end up here. You were this hugely dramatic girl with a lot of talent and an incredible voice and I was just Sam, the new guy. We didn’t really take the time to get to know each other for the longest time but when we did, I was really glad that I got to know you and become your friend because you were so loyal, sweet and kind. A lot nicer than some people had given you credit for”
He recalled Santana warning him away from her in his first year at McKinley and then the times he had heard Mercedes and Kurt criticising her behind her back. Things had changed a lot since then.
“You’ve been one of my best friends for years and I never imagined that I would fall in love with you. I’ve been so lucky because you know me better than anybody else and accept me for who I am unconditionally. You’re probably one of the few to ever do so and I love you so much for that. I promise now today that I will love you and support you unconditionally no matter what happens. And I’m more than ready to spend the rest our lives together”.
Rachel had tears burning in the back of her eyes at his words but she had to hold them in or she knew she wouldn’t make it through her own vows.
“Sam, I have to admit that I always thought you were very attractive” a few people laughed at this. “But I was in love with Finn and didn’t think I would ever possibly love anybody else. Then Finn died and there was a huge open wound in my heart that I never thought anything would be able to heal. When we started to become closer after you moved to New York and then back in Lima, that wound slowly began to close up without me even realising it. You took the broken pieces of my heart and put them back together. You saved me, Sam. Without you I think I would have been quite happy to spend the rest of my life alone, pushing people away out of fear of getting hurt again. I felt so safe with you and I knew when I began to fall in love with you that I could trust you with my heart and my soul. I promise to you today, Sam, that you can trust me with yours. I will never deliberately hurt it or do anything to break it. I will protect it with everything that I have in me. I will treasure you for the rest of our lives”.
Sam would never admit it and would deny it quite vehemently later but he’d had tears in his eyes at Rachel’s words. Kurt was openly crying and even Santana was sniffing a bit.
Then the time came for them to exchange rings and then the moment that they had both been waiting for since the second she had stepped into the room, “I now declare you both husband and wife. You may now kiss” Rachel grinned as Sam dipped her in his arms and planted the most passionate kiss on her lips. The room clapped and cheered, happy that these two had finally found their happy ending in each other.
Best Day Ever by Jessica
Rachel sat on the bleachers watching as her husband coached his football team. She pressed a hand to her stomach, feeling both anxious and nauseous at the same time. She had been feeling ill for several weeks now, suffering from sickness, headaches and tiredness. She had also been more emotionally than normal and her breasts had been hurting. She had just been to visit the doctor that morning to confirm her suspicions and just as she had thought she was pregnant, about twelve weeks along according to the doctor.
Well at least that explained why she was already having problems squeezing into her pants and some of her skirts. She was three months along and now she had to figure out a way to break the news to Sam. She had a feeling that he was going to be thrilled by the news but that didn’t make her feel any less anxious about it. They had been talking about starting a family for a while now but they hadn’t decided to start trying officially yet.
“Great job, guys. I’ll see you all tomorrow. We’re going to beat those guys tomorrow night!” Sam hollered at the teenagers as practice came to an end. Rachel waved and smiled as he turned around. A grin appeared on his face as he noticed his wife sitting on the bleachers, clearly waiting for him. “Rachel! What are you doing here? I thought that you were going out with Kurt and Blaine”.
“I had to cancel on them. There’s something that we need to talk about, Sam”.
“That sounds serious” Sam frowned as he sat beside her on the bench. “Are you okay? Is this about you throwing up every morning and then sometimes at night?”
“It is” Rachel nodded and took a deep breath. “The thing is…I’m pregnant, Sam”.
Sam froze for a moment, his eyes widening in surprise. Rachel waited and then was startled when he smashed his mouth against hers. “What was that for?” she laughed after they pulled away.
“I’m just so happy, Rach. We’re having a baby!”
“You’re pleased about this?”
“Of course! We’ve been talking about this for ages and I didn’t think it would happen so soon but I am really happy, Rachel. We’re going to have a little football player” he smiled.“
Or Broadway star” Rachel corrected, her eyes sparkling with amusement and happiness. She was so glad that Sam was thrilled about this. She had been a little freaked out if she was being honest but knowing he was excited made her feel a lot better about it. “You’re really okay with this, sweetie?”
“Are you kidding?! This is the best day ever!”
Sam helping Rachel 2 move into her new flat and while they are messing/playing with the colors 4 the walls he just kisses her. <3
Thanks for the prompt, Anon. Here you go.
Paint Job by Jessica
“Thank you so much Sam for doing this. I know that this is the last thing you want to be doing when you could be with Blaine and Artie right now”.
Rachel was truly grateful that her boyfriend had decided to spend the day helping to decorate her new apartment in New York rather than go hang out with the guys (minus Kurt) down at the arcades. She didn’t know how she would have got most of the place painted by herself before she had to move her stuff in within the next week, not to mention before her new show started rehearsals. “I really don’t think I could have gotten so much today if it wasn’t for your help”.
“No problem, Rach. What are boyfriends for, right?” he grinned, his eyes darting down on her face. “Although if you want to reward me for the help later on, I wouldn’t refuse”.
“Down boy” she laughed as she brushed the lavender paint on one side of what would be her bedroom. So far they had managed to get the entire kitchen done in the morning and were planning to do her bedroom and bathroom for the rest of the day before returning to Lima. Then they would be coming back to finish off the living room. Thankfully her place was small so it wasn’t like she had any big rooms to complete. “If we get all of this and the bathroom done today I may have a special treat for you…”
Sam’s eyebrow raised flirtatiously. “I do like the sound of that”.
“Then let’s get painting!”
They spent the next hour or so talking and singing (obviously) whilst they painted the rest of the room. Within two hours her entire bedroom was no longer creamy white but a pale lavender colour. “Great job, Sam. I do believe that we’re done in here. It might need another coat later but we can get back to that”.
“So since I’ve been a good boy and worked hard, do I get my treat now?” Her boyfriend smirked at her and Rachel rolled her eyes at him good-naturedly.
“We’ve still got to do the bathroom, babe”.
“I forgot about that”.
“I’m sure you did” she giggled before leaving the room. He followed her into the bathroom where she had already placed two pots of sky blue paint on the floor ready to be used.
“So I was thinking that I could do a sailor scene in here. It would look great with the blue and…”
Rachel was surprised when Sam cut her off by spinning her into his arms. He smiled at her and stroked her lips playfully before bending down and carefully placing his lips on hers.
The painting was all but forgotten as he took his treat earlier than Rachel had intended to give it to him.
Could you do one about them being adorable and stuff at the Brittana wedding?
Here you go, lovely! :)
Wedding Reception by Jessica
Rachel watched the newly married Santana and Brittney dancing together with large smiles on their faces and felt a brief pang of loneliness hit her. She wanted what they had, what she had with Finn and what Kurt had with Blaine. She definitely missed looking at somebody like they were her whole world and being looked at in the same way. She saw the genuine happiness on their faces and smiled to herself. She was really happy for them and that they had found each other.
“Penny for your thoughts?” a familiar voice asked from behind her and she felt her waist become engulfed within a pair of strong arms. The slight lonely ache she had been feeling immediately dissipated as she leaned back into Sam’s chest.
“I’m just thinking that I’m really happy for Santana and Brittney. And for Kurt and Blaine too” Rachel told him. “They look at each other like they’re the light to each other’s entire universes".
Sam seemed to pick up on the slight melancholy in his date’s voice. “You sound kind of sad, Rach”.
“I’m not sad. I just wish that I had what they had”.
“Look I know that we’ve only just started dating but I want you to know that you’re really important to me” he told her, spinning her around in his arms so that she was facing him. “You make my heart race and I can’t seem to eat or sleep or even breathe without you entering my mind and my thoughts at least ten times. I don’t know if I’m falling for you but I do know that you make me happy and I hope that I make you feel the same way too”.
“You do” Rachel smiled back at him, her eyes glistening slightly. “You make me happier than I’ve been in a long time. I never thought that I would feel like this ever again but you’ve achieved it”.
“Good” he told her before planting a sweet kiss on the side of her lips. “Now why don’t we go have a dance?”
Rachel nodded and allowed him to drag her to the dance floor. Time passed and before they had even realised it, they had been dancing through about eight songs. Suddenly the music stopped and Santana and Brittney stood on the stage with large grins on their faces. “It’s time to catch our bouquets!”
Rachel’s lips stretched into a large grin as she quickly gathered with the other single women to catch the flowers. Sam fell back and stood with also newly married Kurt and Blaine as he watched Rachel join the others.
“You better hope that those flowers miss Rachel” Kurt teased him with a nudge but Sam merely smirked back at the older boy.
“What if I told you I wanted her to catch them?”
Kurt blinked in surprise but before he could make a response, they heard a group of loud shrieking as the bouquet flew through the air. Brittney’s bouquet landed into Quinn’s outstretched but slightly surprised hands (leaving a smug grin on Puck’s face) whilst the other bouquet eventually hit Rachel in the head. She stepped back, dazed, before plucking the flowers up from off the ground. She turned around and met Sam’s gaze. He gave her a grin and she felt herself smile back at him automatically.
Kurt side eyed him with bemusement. “You’re gonna marry that girl someday aren’t you?”
Sam shot a look back at him. “I don’t know but I hope so”.
