I'm so sorry that you guys have to deal with so much exclusionist bull, and I'm so sorry you have to deal with explaining things over and over, because I know it's tiring. Thank for creating this space though, and thank you for being such great members of this community :D

thank u anon! i'm glad people enjoy this blog, it's nice to have a space where we can let our guard down :) there's a lot of loud exclusionists in the world, but we're stickin around! & the hate is often much more intense in online queer communities than irl, at least. there are safe places for us, too :)

obviously i am someone who enjoys “culture is” blogs or it wouldn’t really make sense for me to run one, but in particular i appreciate that i have yet to see any kind of gatekeeping from any of them. we got pan culture is, we got mspec gay culture is, ace and aro culture were the first as far as i can tell, we got xenogenders and microlabels and neurodivergencies, and i have yet to see anybody be an asshole about it. everybody’s just happy to see other folks having fun. with all the exclusionism i’ve seen in recent months it’s been reassuring
