Jim’s had a long day.
“The Night of the Tartar” Season 2, Episode 19
“Here Comes the Sun[...]of all the [Beatles’] sun songs, it’s my favorite. And I think I probably knew this once upon a time but it felt like refreshing my memory to see that it was George Harrison. I think- I obviously- would’ve known it was was him singing it, but that he had also written it. And George Harrison is someone who I have come to later in life as a solo artist. The funniest thing about George Harrison is that - and this is very odd considering I wasn’t a huge fan of The Beatles- I had this poster of them that was all four of them probably around the year ‘67 or ‘68. A very famous quad of pictures, I don’t know how to describe it. They look like they have just started growing themselves out of their more uptight phase, and they’ve really embraced the new longer hair and stuff like that and they look really cute, all of them, but George Harrison...I was like good GOD- a dreamboat! He was truly a dreamboat. I think of all The Beatles he was the sexiest.
Which has nothing to do with why I like Here Comes the Sun, but there is - to me- a warm, honey quality to everything George Harrison touches. There’s something peaceful but just still stirring enough about the music that he makes. Everything George Harrison did makes me feel good. Even the [solo] stuff that[...]I’m like I don’t love that song- but I can just listen to it. I just-he’s-there’s something...he’s a warm ray of sunshine.”
- Jim Parsons, famously known as playing Sheldon Cooper in tv’s “The Big Bang Theory”, picks his favorite Beatles’ songs for the radio special “Big Bang Beatles” on SiriusXM (February 2019).
TDB Rewatch 3x05: Why yes it is midnight-ish (somewhere) and I could not wait any longer to post this fucking glorious video!!
I cannot find the Pot O’ Gold recap that I know exists somewhere so here’s a Throwback Thursday for last week.

i think a lot about that part in the office when andy and the local community theater burst into the office singing sweeney todd and jim just turns to the camera, clenches his fists and whispers "yes"
