its me rambling about Same Old Dan time!!! the ambiguity of Dan's cursed state has been rolling around in my head for days now, the fact we dont know (and will never know) the events that lead to him becoming cursed is so interesting to me with how unstable his mother is she couldve forced him to look outside, or he got exposed trying to pull her away from the window or fight her off, maybe it was a suicide attempt after killing his mom in self defense, or he joined her willingly but something happened where he had to leave (for example cannibalizing her) and its not even just the events that lead up to it that are unclear, we dont even know if Same Old Dan really is Dan Frankie said cursed doppelgangers exist alongside the main cast and now we have confirmation that Dan also has stalkers, one who "becomes" him after being exposed to the visitor, and since he knows where our Dan lives its not a stretch to say they either also live in the apartment or went to try and meet him in person

making it equally possible that Clarkke is Same Old Dan and the thought of someone who has a parasocial relationship with you not only finding out where you live but also puts on your face and might even act like you and say things in your voice and make people think theyre you is terrifying actual perfect blue type shit everything about this makes me so deeply uncomfortable and scared and i hate it in the best way ever
