More than a little curious about Masquerade. If you are willing. Share some details?

Masquerade is going to be fun, anon...

So, in the universe of The Alpha, there is something called masking. This involves taking herbs to suppress your scent for a period of time. Now, the most common reason for this is traveling, you don’t want your scent to attract attention when you travel, but there are other reasons, most have to do with interactions in professional environments and etc...

SO...

Something happens at the end of The Alpha that really sets the stage for Masquerade. I can’t go into depth BUT Jungkook is sent away for reasons and returns during a huge masked celebration taking place between two packs.

He puts his mask on and joins the party... only to smell his mate.

Now-

The reader in this fic has just gone through the Change (the night before). She smells her mate at the party, but they are both wearing masks and are separated.

Here’s where it gets tricky. JK and OC know each other and they do not like each other... at all.

Each one is convinced that their mate (who was definitely at the party) is a member of the other pack that was there for the celebration...

They separately request to visit the other pack to find their mate, the Alpha agrees, and that night they take herbs to mask their scent... only to discover (the next morning) that they have to travel together to the other pack...

Wonder what will happen?

I know my big post-S6 plot fic (Sterek with some light Steterek pre-slash) is forever in the planning stages but I had a really evil good idea I wanted to share.

After defeating the Anuk-ite and before the 2 year time jump in the finale, Scott thinks they won even though Monroe got away. Someone (probably Peter or Derek? - I thought about maybe Sheriff Stilinski but it has to be someone Scott won't listen to) points out that they won the battle but not the war, to which Scott protests that they can't go on a murder spree or some other nonsense.

Then Derek (definitely Derek for this) throws Allison's "We protect those who cannot protect themselves" in Scott's face. I could even have Chris agree with him (in honor of Allison's memory) to drive the point home that it is the right thing to do.

Cause, yeah, despite Scott's tendency of not getting involved until it directly affects him, they can't ignore that Monroe is still out there aiming to commit genocide against the supernatural.
